Yesh you did don't be so Nixon-y. If Drew Stafford played even decently this passed year his contract would barely be an over-payment. My point was less about who believed what when and more about what's fair when it comes to analyzing GMs. Obviously, most of the board has its mind made up about Darcy but there are still those who have very interesting points of view when it comes to evaluating him (LTS, Physics). My brother supports Darcy wholeheartedly and he's an older wiser hockey fan than I; we have a lot of interesting conversations since we're pretty far apart on him. If you thought it was a good idea at the time, is it fair to blame Darcy and rip on him for it?

Breaking Bad and GoT are my two favorite TV shows. They're so different, and I think I have to wait until the final 8 episodes of BB are out before I can claim one is better than the other. Also Bonnaroo was absolutely amazing this year. I cried when Paul McCartney played Blackbird and then cried hard when he followed it up with Here Today. He also played Something, my favorite Beatles song even though it's a Geroge. Breathtaking performance by a 71 year old. Truly amazing.

I realize that this level of whining cannot come from one season, but the consistency of it just gets to me. I like following hockey because it's fun. If I ever got to the point where most of the time I'm not having fun with it I'd do something else.
