Stop your yelling and whining. From what I have read, several legit NFL sources say that the Eagles and Jets were high on EJ. Both of those teams had 2nd round picks before us. The Eagles were confirmed to be in trade talks for picks in the 20s to pick up EJ. You are basing your argument on perceived draft value, which is meaningless when you consider the importance of a franchise QB. The Bills picked up an extra 2nd round pick and got their guy. Whether or not he was the guy you wanted, you can't say they didn't maximize their picks.

The next GM was assisting all of this, so I don't really see the issue. And Liger, Gil Brandt came out and said that the Eagles had plans in place to move up to the 20s to pick up EJ. Would you rather have Tavon Austin and Our 2nd maybe 3rd choice of QB - or - EJ Manuel, Robert Woods, Kiko Alonso, and DaRick Rogers?

Why did you post hit stats and make a point of Pommer being last when there are several guys on that list who were in the lower twenties? Hits suck as a stat, and you made a bad point with your bad stats. Pommer wasn't a good captain for this team. The way they played under him proved that just fine.

I... Uh... guess I forgot about Myers. Kind of an enigma at this point. Can he return to freshman form and become a #1 puck mover? I can hope, right? Can he stop puking all over himself every time he touches the puck and become a serviceable 3/4? Maybe. Maybe Rolston will be good for him... ...but I doubt it.

Ehrhoff is a good #1/great number #2. Sekera is a good #3. Pysyk is a ? because he's so young. If he keeps up his play I'd say he's a good #5 with legit top 4 potential. Weber is a good nasty #5. We need a #2/3 nasty defenseman to round out this D core. lol @PA for hating on Ehrhoff because he isn't the leading goal scorer and Pegula wanted him. lol @Dwight because his stance on advanced statistics is just so lovable.

I thought about the roster a little bit today, and this is what I came up with: Vanek - Hodgson - Dustin Brown Ennis - Gerbe - Leino Foligno - Barkov - Ott Kaleta - Porter - Scott We trade Miller to LA for Brown. Their recent playoff losses have been Quick giving up goals at the worst times. They'll likely be looking to upgrade the position. Surround Gerbe with Elite talent so he can shine as captain of the team. We move up and get barkov by trading Stafford + Flynn + 16 The season sucked and Lindy's gone, so obviously I've been think about Lindy, and then this little "coincidence" occurs: I've been playing Doodle Jumper on my hypon and a sound bit plays whenever an alien appears. It sounds like girl from the Grudge saying "LINDYRUFF LINDYRUFF LINDYRUFF" over and over. I suspect that the spirit of Fire Lindy Ruff NOW!!! Has been harnessed by the game devs to make the enemies in their game more annoying.

Girgensons had the most talent of anybody on the Amerks and hit like a truck. His goal tonight was a beaut. He recieved a pass from Larsson and pullled the puck back to avoid the defender, got his legs taken out, and sniped the top left corner anyways. Larsson looked incredibly solid. Made very few mistakes and hung on to the puck well. Grigorenko looked bad. Most of the time when he got the puck he just pushed it along the boards uselessly. He did draw a penalty because he went flying when someone administered a cross check to him that Vanek takes 6 of each shift. He's got a long way to go. It was an entertaining game. The best parts were the Girgensons goal and the McCormick fight. Tarnasky's goal to tie it up with four minutes left was exciting as well.

Throw in a fat caveman and a girl and we have the crew!
