The thought of Vanek/Miller playing their last game surprised me. I was so numb about the sucky short season, I didn't even realize how close to the end we were.

Why move Glenn to guard when he seemed to do a pretty fine job as a rookie LT? If the Bills can protect him he should be able to remain healthy. I remember watching some videos of his college play (some time ago) and he would get rocked every fifth play just standing in the pocket and making a throw.

So start after Vanek has an absurd scoring spurt and is assured to normalize, continue on through to when he gets injured and misses 10 games, and then we get to when he comes back and doesn't look himself for 3-4 games that he actually played. I don't think Vanek has disappeared at all this year.

I've seen lots good teams mail it in hard against the Sabres this year, and I've seen the Sabres mail it in hard against their equals this year.
