    Bad in game player usage, not letting young players play through mistakes, being completely fine with hard working players that don't get results, not working with his GM (could be just as much gmtm's fault), deploying a system that relies entirely on "skate harder." I appreciate that he's building a culture of hard work, but there's not much else I see that inspires me. This has, of course, all been said before.

    The Vanek trade yeilded us a 1st, a 2nd, and Matt Moulson, who then yielded us even more assets when he Ktachuked. That was a good Regier trade, pure value. Too bad Darcy sucked at every other facet of GMing.

    He's the Assistant GM in Ari, so that's neither here nor there. Darcy was incredibly lackadaisical about the teardown, stretching out the suffering as long as possible. I have very much doubt that he was executing any sort of plan.

    Was Darcy actually waiting because he saw McDavid off in the distance, or was he just incredibly slow to enact any sort of plan ever? I feel like it took him almost two full years to jettison the old core from Goose to finally Vanek. And freakin' GMTM had to get rid of Miller.

    Monday was pretty bad. I was awoken by the lunatic shrieks of my Gramma's caretaker. I knew exactly what happened, Gramma fell. She's 88, and suffered a hairline pelvic fracture and a concussion 4 months ago. It was a major setback to her mobility and general day to day lucidity (she has dementia and is already pretty far gone). This time, it was a major pelvic fracture and another concussion. My mom and I have doubts that my Gramma will ever walk again. At least at seems at this point that she'll live. The doctors in the trauma ward still haven't ruled out surgery. The caretaker had my dear Grannis Baratheon sitting on the edge of her bed unsupported. No common sense. She is so fired.

    You need to chill out and stop being so condescending. There's nothing wrong with rooting for losses to get the ultimate prize and there's nothing wrong with rooting for the Sabres when they actually pull one out. They weren't going to finish the season 0-13, might as well beat the Bruins.
