    (disclaimer: I don't claim to know anything in detail about Deadpool, or comics in general) That trailer (tonally) looks about perfect for Deadpool. In this over saturated superhero movie market, it's the perfect time for a Deadpool film.

    There is a tendency on this board (and everywhere) to assume facts out of thin air whenever a story like this breaks. We were talking about the .08 BAC limit when the ROR vs. TH's thing went down and a lot of posters started assuming it was reported that he blew a .08. Now in this thread we have people assuming that it was reported that the girl was 17 because that's the age of consent.

    That makes sense, because when I judge players, I usually do so in the context of where you want them playing if your team is good. If you're relying on Drew Stafford to be one of the 6 best forwards on your team, that's not good. So while he may play on the second line most of the time, I still think of him as a 3rd liner.

    I don't like the idea of a keeper either, but I'm not in yet and I don't know from which pool of players I'd be keeping from.

    Drew Stafford is that nice 3rd line winger who can reliably pot ~15 goals a year. He's not a disaster of a possession player, but he's also nothing special as we all know. If your team is relying on him for more than that, prepare to be disappointed.

    Why didn't that work in the AHL last year? In his 21 games after the trade he scored 2 goals.

    You be nice! Every goalie is a good goalie. Do you want to shoot on post? As far as things that are awesome go: I am having an awesome music day today. Everything I play sounds on point, and I wrote a couple short songs out of nowhere. Everything except the song I set out to write has come out. Music is fun.

    Darcy was good for a while. And then he was bad... and somehow thought his team could win without quality centers (year after year after year). Darcy slowly sold off assets (getting good value), not committing to the tank until he absolutely had to. You're right that GMTM hasn't proved anything yet. But don't construe it as if Darcy was about to build a juggernaut and GMTM is just a cocky rookie who will ruin it.

    People say that every year in Bills camp, but I have no idea if it's true because our offense is always terrible. (Except for those Gailey/Fitz years when it was fun and also interceptions.) Our defense has generally been good these passed 6 years or so. It's definitely true now, though, because our defense is super bowl caliber and our offense has yet another new coordinator this season.

Tim Murray has demonstrated more vision and team building ability than Darcy did from 2008-(whenever he got canned) by an incredibly large margin. And TM's ego? :blink: Really?

    Last night of our Summer soccer league last night. My sister is still the best at playing the ball in the air, my brother is still the only one who can score, and our goalie is a badass. I had a blast this year. Playing like a fore-checking winger when I was on offense was really fun. Midfield is stupid and running is stupid.

    I don't actually care which Xmen film takes place in which continuity, but First Class was far and away better than every other X-men film. After I saw it, I immediately assumed they'd make a direct sequel. Future Past was OK, but it confused the hell out of me that it wasn't much like First Class.
