  1. Noooooo way. EDIT: To be clear, I'm not being sarcastic. I highly doubt GoDD is any of the new guys.
  2. That would be a Rexy thing to do.
  3. Bwahahahahaha the Jets.
  4. Very little of the internet is  Reddit is a nightmare.
  5. The truth is, freeman and SDS aren't the only moderators. The members of this community moderate this board. Freeman was always the pillar of logic with an edge, nothing changed when he became "a mod." And trolls are trolls. Even if this particular troll is new to us (which I obviously doubt), he stepped the line and deserved a little PP slap.
  6. To expand on what Hoss is saying here: Even if a girl flirts with a guy really hard at the bar and they're making out, dancing sexily, and she decides to go home with him there should be no percieved unspoken promise of sex. Both people are aware that sex is a possibility, but it's an incredibly personal connection to make with someone (not everyone feels this way, alas). If the girl goes home with the guy intending to have sex with him and changes her mind (sobering up, just wanna cuddle and talk, whatever), she is within her rights to do so. That's not her being at fault for putting herself at risk to be raped, that's her trying to have agency in her sex life.
  7. I got lost looking at my nipple in the mirror the other day. It was a little chilly and it appeared as though my areola featured 1 large nipple and 8 tiny ones around it in a circle. It looked like an ancient shield with studs in it. (This seems like the proper thread for this sort of thought)
  8. I liked the finale, but I also had huge problems with it as well. I'll get a long rambly nerd post going here eventually.
  9. I don't know why, but this really cracked me up  Thanks for taking time to stop and share your thoughts, LTS. Always a pleasure.
  10. Because you kinda see things the way T4M does, except with you it sounds more genuine.
  11. But Robins Egg is probably right that the ROR trade doesn't happen if we pick Hertl instead of Grigs, due to the butterfly effect. Darcy probably gets to keep his job longer because he looks like a Magician in the draft. Then DeLuca's assassination plot goes off without a hitch (Darcy was fired a month before the scheduled date, according to some old TSC PMs I was able to find in the ether of the interwebs).
  12. Yes it does. Insert Larsson instead of Grigo. Boom ROR.
  13. Once you got outed by members pointing out that you are a returning troll, your responses started spiraling out of control. Hehehehe, I definitely remember you.
  14. I wasn't twisting your words, I was paraphrasing. You said some despicable things and you're dodging every attempt by posters to take you to task for it. That's chickensh-- behavior and we don't tolerate it in this corner of the internet.
  15. T4M, please stop. Admit that you're wrong. Modern Rules of Engagement dictate that one should expect sex from a stranger? On any given night, a person shouldn't even expect sex from their significant other.
  16. Zemgus has what makes Taves so special: He never stops skating. Zemgus will never stop getting better at hockey (unless his body ages, which scientists are unsure of at the moment). He and O'Reilly will be the most important wingers when we win our first cup (and they're both good options for fill in center if Eichel, Reinhart, or Larsson goes down). His offense isn't going to blow you out of the water, but he'll be better than Ryan Callahan was.
  17. You can argue that Tyrod's high completion percentage is because all he does is rely on his legs and checks it down. They're both not likely to be good. Really hope one is.
  18. This is all fine. I'm sure most would agree that the fact that professional athletes can get problems swept under the rug with money is a problem. That's a lot different than calling someone a prostitute.
  19. Haven't seen any of those movies based on King stories, so I'm thankfully not spoiled if I ever do get around to reading them. I've also been reading a collection of Yeats. I came across this poem the other day. Ephemera 'Your eyes that once were never weary of mine Are bowed in sorrow under pendulous lids, Because our love is waning.' And then she: 'Although our love is waning, let us stand By the long border of the lake once more, Together in that hour of gentleness When the poor tired child, Passion, falls asleep: How far away the stars seem, and how far Is our first kiss, and ah, how old my heart!' Pensive they paced along the faded leaves, While slowly he whose hand held hers replied: 'Passion has often worn our wandering hearts.' The woods were round them, and the yellow leaves Fell like faint meteors in the gloom, and once A rabbit old and lame limped down the path; Autumn was over him: and now they stood On the lone border of the lake once more: Turning, he saw that she had thrust dead leaves Gathered in silence, dewy as her eyes, In bosom and hair. 'Ah, do not mourn,' he said, 'That we are tired, for other loves await us; Hate on and love through unrepining hours. Before us lies eternity; our souls Are love, and a continual farewell. 1889 - William Butler Yeats
  20. I am enjoying him! The Talisman is kicking around somewhere on our bookshelves, I believe. I'm pretty shocked that it's taken me this long to finally get around to reading a Steven King novel. I've had some up thoughts running through my head as of late. And I still haven't even gotten past the first chapter of Gardens of the Moon.
  21. What's weirder: That, or the fact that I consciously noted your absence?
  22. That's... So much better than the ideas I threw around in my head.
  23. Qwksndmonster would be the Nega-qwk
