All employees and patrons here have to walk through a thermal scan at the entrances. Security monitors them. When you're over 100.0 you have to be scanned manually. The funny thing is, after a week or so, security is no longer allowed to tell us what our temperature is showing up as on the thermal. This is probably because I routinely walk in the building at 85.5 degrees and the things obviously don't work worth a damn. The illusion of safety.

Speaking of Greek yogurt, I made gyros and tzatziki sauce yesterday. They really came out pretty darn good. I've been making a bunch of things that use the veggies from my garden. I just canned some jalapeño garlic dill pickles yesterday as well. And I hate pickles. Got 4 jars and I'll be giving at least 2 away.

The Yankees and Sox played in primetime the past 2 nights. One on Fox and one on ESPN. And here's what we got to hear. John Smoltz is going to die mad at the Yankees. The disdain in his voice is absolutely awesome and they are definitely the reason he went bald. It's hilarious how mad he still is. Matt Vasgersian definitely roots harder for the Yankees than John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman combined. He makes Michael Kay and Paul O'Neill seem completely unbiased. ESPN needs to turn down the gain on Matt's mic, or at least get him a pillow to scream into. Oh, and even with the Red Sox tanking the season we still can't get these two to play a game in under 5 hours....
