Orion can take his Jacques Lemaire hockey and stick it where the sun don't shine!

Fulton Reed is a 1 trick pony! Can't skate, can't pass, can't hardly hit a dang thing with the puck. He's Happy Gilmore without the golf game!
-
Sure, that's about as realistic as my proposal.
-
Need to give up more than that. Throw in Bogosian too.
-
He was definitely poorly coached. Wolf Stansson was a plug that lasted for 2 minutes in bigs and he coaches his players the same way. Speaking of coaches, something to be said for Gordon Bombay. Out of the game since his youth, comes back to hockey after a decade off and a successful law career, to work his way up through the minors. The athleticism there is very impressive.
-
But he's only 16. Aren't all 16 year olds braindead? Can he be coached up? Was it a temporary lapse? Or is he destined to be Zach Kassian?
-
Xavier LaFlamme...what happened? Number 3 overall and he can't seem to put it together. Ned Braden: Tons of smarts and skills but does he really want it? Maybe that's why he can't get out of The Federal League. Adam Banks: big time player at top Minnesota prep school, just like Crosby and Parise. Where does he go from here? Dean Youngblood: Pure speed and skills. Can dangle, can finish, can set up a teammate. But does he have the grit? Can he develop some toughness? Gunner Staal: Monster Scandinavian power forward. Could be the next Peter Forsberg.

It was completely blindsided AFTER play had already been stopped while the puck was in the net. Might as well have happened in the parking lot! Sutton had it all! And the best hair to boot. TV show. I'll allow it!
-
Dorsey is fragile. Sutton was going number 1 in the draft til Racki went all McSorley on him.
-
I knew he'd get a vote or 2.

So this idea just came to me. Who are the best fictional hockey players in movie history? Miracle need not apply, as them boys are real. Dean Youngblood? Ned Braden? John Biebe? Xavier LaFlamme? Adam Banks? Reg Dunlop(in his youth)? Derek Sutton? Gunner Staal? Doug Dorsey? There are many more, feel free to add. Let's have it. Who's the all time best?

I mean....ehhh, shrug...man...
-
Derek Roy was better than all 4 of the other guys combined.

It's my buddy's cat.

Right...

So, are we trading for Hoffman?

Pouliots are replaceable and expendable when prospects supplant them. Either they win a spot out of camp or they play their way into full time after an injury. But I don't really believe in saving spots for pretty much any of them.
-
None? Force them to kick the door down and announce that they are taking a roster spot with excellent play. If they don't, they can stay in Rochester for a minute, then go elsewhere.

10-4 good buddy. I never max out. I just felt great the other day. 6 plates and the bar is as high as I ever go, and I do that for reps. I only bench with dumbbells, and even then I never go above 60lb bells. Tone is all I go for, but I do need to maintain a strong lower body and core, because I really abuse my body all winter long. I've been hitting the elliptical very hard lately, but not riding my bike as much as I want because all the trails by my house are flooded. I might make a trip up to Mt. Snow or Killington and hit up their bike trails soon. I'm going to get 150 days on mountain this winter and I'm going to post pictures to torture you while you're trying to save humankind working ridiculously long hours in a lab! :p

bio, ya know, you really make me jealous.

I read Spanish pretty well. That's what 4 years bought me. Can't speak it for nothin, but my accent is excellent! But I hang out with a whole lot of Spanish speakers in my group of friends.

Because people don't care about mental illness. It's really that simple. How many people still hold onto the belief that suicide is for the weak? Or it's taking the cowards way out? How many people bat and eye when someone calls someone crazy, schizo, psycho, loony toons, nuts, lunatic, not all his dogs are barking, making sandwiches without bread, etc...no one cares. That's the difference between the mentally ill and the mentally disabled.

There was never any doubt. Never even opened the door.

Sounds pretty darn good to me.
