Ugh, I wish! We got about 7 inches of mashed potatoes. Just heavy wet ***** with a nice frozen crust on top. Skiing was fun anyway for the first 3 hours when my kid and I were the only ones on the mountain, but it got tracked out fast when people realized it was snowing instead of rain on the hill. Oh well...make the most of what you have.

Resurrecting another thread. I've just booked 4 weeks chasing winter. Catskills in January, Adirondacks in February, Green Mountains of VT in March and The Whites in NH in April. I'll find snow of it kills me.

We've had 10 inches of snow accumulation this season so far. Trouble is it all fell on one day in November and it has been melted for almost 2 full months! I hate brown winters. I need snow. It's vital to my mental well being.

Take into consideration: He won't ever get paid playing for the A's so that's 6 MLB service years plus whatever minor league time he needs on a small contract before he had a chance at big money.
