Ford is putting out the Bullitt Mustang again. That color is freaking amazing. The green just makes you look at it. There's one at the dealership about a mile from my house that keeps tempting me to go drive it. Ok, movie cars, and TV cars! Here we go! Kit from Knight Rider! Roger Moore's Lotus Esprit in The Spy Who Loved Me. The S8 and more importantly the chase scenes from Ronin. Magnum's crappy Ferrari. Ferris and Cameron's awesome Ferrari. Charlie Sheen's Dodge MS4 Turbo Interceptor from The Wraith. Elenore. Charlie Babbitt's 49 Roadmaster convertible "straight 8, fireball 8!" And yeah, I'm gonna do it... Dom's Veilside RX7. That car was beautiful. In my opinion it was the best car in that movie (first fast and the furious)better than the Charger and the Supra. Who doesn't love a rotary engine?

This could go in the awesome thread, but I'll post it here. My buddy used to be a union floor guy. I never knew that! So now I get professional advice and help on my man cave job. He's literally never mentioned it in the last 10 years.

Love Driving Stick! Freaking love it! Never minded doing it in heavy traffic. I know the new high tech automatic transmissions all all awesome and whatever, but man...I love the clutch and a short throw shifter. Take care of Fred.

GF has a Mazda3. I hate the screen, but it's a way of life now, so I'd have to get used to it. She likes it.

Current car: 07 Infiniti G35X with 102k miles on it. Needs new door lock actuators and tire pressure sensors. But it's paid off and I hope I can get many more years out of it. Next car: Who knows. I want the new Toyota Supra but 50k is too much for me. Maybe the new Mazda6. I do love my Japanese cars.

Simple enough. Money is no object. Neither is functionality. I'm gonna think on this for a bit. But my first thought drifts towards the 91 Acura NSX. Then probably the 64 Aston Martin DB5. I know, I'm a hack. But I really love that car and those movies.

I've been watching YouTube videos learning how to do a bunch of this stuff. GF sees me watching a miter saw tutorial and says "you didn't learn to use that thing in wood shop?" To which I replied "woman, I took musical theatre!" Yeah, I'm not much of a manly man, but I'm a triple threat on a stage.

I'm finally ripping up the awful shag carpet in my man cave. Gonna rip this up and put down vinyl. Guess what I found underneath my awful shag carpet! If you guessed more awful carpet you'd be correct! This job just got twice as hard. At least there aren't more tack strips for carpet #2. Just a disgusting carpet pad and a concrete floor to scrape and clean. This is gonna take a while.

Oh, I'm just fine. Thought the wife needed emergency hernia surgery last night. All is well...she just needs regular hernia surgery in a few days.

Sitting in the hospital waiting... watching Signs. I need to know Merrill Hess' OPS numbers. He held 5 MiLB HR records as well as the MiLB strikeouts record. In the current baseball climate he'd be a real commodity. K's don't seem to matter to teams anymore as long as you can hit the ball deep. I think he could have had a nice career.

Basil Hayden's Bourbon is pretty damn good. A bit too expensive, but it's still pretty damn good.
