    I liked seeing Bailey finish his check there. He made the defenseman rush the pass and that resulted in an offsides. We need more of that. Are the NBC commentators supposed to even try to be impartial or are they just told to slobber all over the knobs of the caps?

    Prospect Park opened up their ice rink this weekend and their league play starts today. I've got a game at 1030 pm tonight..lot's of hockey for me tonight :)

Loss? I think it's a win because Tennyson won't be in on the PP.

    I'll pretend to bite. Eichels contract + his on ice attitude of not looking like he's trying/cares makes him untradeable. No way the other team's GM (i don't know who Keller is or who he plays for) makes that trade and handcuffs his franchise for the next 9 years.

    If i remember correctly the Ray was "called-up" as the original color guy had a family emergency or something. Ray is essentially NBC sports' very own Zach Redmond.

    This game feels like the early seeding rounds of an international tournament where Canada is playing a country that's located in a place where they never get ice naturally and the economic situation of the country has recently improved allowing them to create an ice rink for the first time ever and they decided they wanted to play hockey.

    I don't think anyone is actually saying that considering how the yotes have looked this season.

    I'd love to go to that game but getting to and from the stadium is a nightmare.

    At this point everything about this team frustrates me. The money we have tied up with Okposo, Bogo and Moulson means we won't be able to retain Kane, whose been our best player not named Jack Eichel. I'm frustrated that the defense can't contribute. I'm frustrated that the Sabres can't string together solid showings on multiple nights. As I write this out i think what I'm frustrated about the most is the lip-service we've been hearing for the past x amount of years "We have to play smarter, I have to be better, etc." The words aren't backed up by action and are now rotted and hollow.

    Defensive scoring, that's what's wrong with this team. Do you know how many total goals the sabres D have scored this year? Zero. How many other teams have scoreless defenses? Zero. We are alone in that category and prior to the start of the season I was really hoping PH would help solve that as it hurt us last year.

    I have no faith in this team stringing together a 4-5 game point streak.

    I'm curious to know what the SV% comparison for goalies who play back-to-back games after posting a shutout in game 1. I think there's something to be said for confidence levels and being in "the zone". I wouldn't even know where to begin to find a stat like that.

    IT'S WEDNESDAY NIGHT RIVALRY NIGHT! I CAN LITERALLY SEE THE BLOOD BOIL UNDER MY SKIN WHEN I THINK OF ALL THE PAST SERIES THAT LED ME TO DESPISE...the Blue Jackets? Like, remember that time they scored to beat us that sealed our fate to draft Jack Eichel? Those . This is a statement game. This team needs to build off of the past two games. A win puts us right back in the playoff mix and the next two games are very winnable.

    Great win. Watched almost all of the game except I missed the one goal. Defense looked great and Kenner was solid. Let's hope they can carry this momentum into tomorrow and pick up another two.

    I'm really just hoping for no short handed goals against. If we win 7-6 that's cool with me.

    A win tonight and tomorrow would be a huge boost for this team and could "put us in the mix" with the rest of the league standing-wise. Last year for every important game this team faced they came out flat and uninterested. I'm hoping there's a change here.

    Looking forward to watching tonight, think this will be the 2nd game I'm able to catch tonight. They better show up for at least 45 minutes tonight and get a win.

    I find it interesting that Okposo and ROR have been paired together non-stop since Okposo has been signed her. If things continue to not work out I'd like to see a major shakeup in the lines (Okposo - Eichel - Reinhart)????.
