Non of the above. The only real issue with taking Jack Quinn at #8 was the presence of Marco Rossi. Without that, Quinn and his production made sense so Adams bet on Quinn being a late bloomer.

Can we talk about the fact that the Quinn - Jankowski - Hinostroza line is better at every single position compared to the Bjork, Eaking, Hayden line? Quinn, way better than Bjork, it isn't even close. Jankowski with a broken leg and fighting a bear, still better than Eakin Hinostroza, this might be mildly close like mild v medium but I am still taking that medium.

Rossi aside, Quinn just passes the eye test every time I watch him. He looks like a good hockey player.

Tyson Kozak could be looked at a different way as well. Dylan Cozens did this in his draft year so they are a year apart there but sometimes players do emerge late. Cozens in the whl had 34g, 50a, in 68 games and Tyson Kozak is on pace for 34g, 47a in 68 games. 84 versus 81 total points in the same league.

There's going to be a difference between drafting in the mid 20s versus the late teams. We need Vegas to lose and get crushed in the first round or just miss the playoffs. I'd monitor the Panthers pick too but they are a machine. They will finish in the top 6 of the league and they will almost certainly win at least 1 playoff round. I suppose they could lose in the first round of the playoffs but we shall see. We will finally get to see if Reinhart is "built for the playoffs" which should be fun since I recall many ppl suggesting he wasn't.

Russia is literally "punishing people who, only by virtue of their nationality," are Ukrainian.
