In my opinion Hodgsons biggest problem is trying to force passes that just aren't there. We saw it on his pass to skinner last week, countless times on the power play after they gain the zone, and i saw it a helluva lot in Rochester during the lockout. Dudes got the talent, just needs to make the smarter pass instead of taking the one with a 10% chance of success.

Let's actually talk about this, lets assume based off this teams performance so far a more realistic pick of ninth or tenth overall, i really like that Zadorov kid. Edit: I suppose the overarching question is with the draft we had last year what is our most glaring need at this point in the draft? I would venture and say we need that physical presence on the blueline that still has high end skill. I know we are inundated with defenseman but that effort by leopold on the OT goal left me with a bad taste in my mouth regarding our D.

While i agree with some here that there probably isnt enough talent to fill a 32 team league, let's assume for a moment that it happens. Two new teams join the league. How do these teams go about filling their rosters? How does an expansion team find it's players?

As i said they do wacky things with A appointments in the past. But they didnt wear them all at once, two were A's for road games, the other two for home games.

When exactly did this become a thing? I know the sabres have been wacky with their captaincy appointments in the past but i thought there were only supposed to be two assistants. This is not the first time I've seen a poster mention 3 A's either. Am i missing something?

rosters need to be finalized by 4pm tomorrow, waivers last for a 24 hour period, normally starting at noon, so they're all last minute waivers from teams who need to set their rosters.

Oddly enough, i think their captain will be Salvadore. In an interview the other day elias kinda dropped the ball. When asked who he thought the captain would be he responded with "I think Salvadore is going to be a good captain for us."

Idk, I've been pretty happy with the last few Darcy trades. Namely kassian hodgson, goose for a first, 21st and 46th? For the 14th, and ott for Roy. I'd be surprised if he can't find something decent in a market looking for d men.
