The fact that he is going to fly to San Jose says it all. He is not trying to up the ante from Buffalo because Terry will pay him anything. The pick is Detroit and it will only be another team if something comes out of the blue (like possibly the trip to San Jose).

Sign the bastard and cut him if he's guilty. This team needs a guard and if I had to make a bet (from the little I have heard), I would say no connection. There is so much wrong with professional football these days that nothing really phases me anymore. This team needs a stud road grading guard in the worst way so why not take the risk. If there was ever one individual to spend crazy on, I believe that to be Babcock. In my opinion, I think he is the best coach out there. This next coaching hire is more critical than getting Eichel because this team is ready to roll for quite some time.
