Ok, it was nice to get the fans a win last night but come on, we can't jump Detroit tomorrow night and I doubt the Rangers are winning again. Can't we all just be happy with a 7-6 regulation loss vs Detroit?

No, I do not expect that out of him for every game of the season either but I guess I just will never understand how a player can look so different from one night to the next and he has not looked like that often over the last 2 months

Actually, I had four tickets to this game because it is usually my kids favorite one of the year. I decided not to take them in case there were Boos. There is nothing more that I am looking forward to than being able to take my kids again without them wanting to leave after the 1st period. This is exactly why i hate this team right now...

This team deserves no fans, none. I have seen way too many games where the effort level is night and day. I'm not referring to wins and losses, but effort for full 60. Until they get out of the basement, fans deserve that every single night.

I hope this is the most embarrassing loss of the year so it leaves zero doubt housecleaning on ice and behind bench are made.

So my kids have a week off starting next Friday and my daughter was asked to go on vacation with her friend. That leaves me alone with my 12 year old boy for about 5 days. Any suggestions from fathers who have done this as I would really take advantage. Location would be anywhere in the US and willing to do anything really. He likes soccer, sports in general, anything. I just found this out today and am really struggling with ideas. Thought of deep sea fishing, camping.... but want a lot of options to give him.

This, believe it or not, will be the first game where I am actively cheering for the loss. This is a big one to have a shot at the number three spot. I am fully expecting them to win which will then put all the pressure on the Detroit game. The good thing is that the Red Wings are one of the hottest teams in the league right now and will probably want to close out with a victory at home and ride that positivity into the offseason.

8 for 7 years is as high as i would go. That drops to 7 if he demands 8 years

100% outta here. Whatever I guess......he's too old to sign an 8 year deal in Buffalo because this team is 3 years away from playoffs anyway. Right now, my only hope is to keep Jack interested and to keep bringing in youth over the next couple years.

This is exactly why this team is so terrible right now. They have zero depth and no players that turn into top 6 talent outside of the 1st round.

A actually, it isn't. It's a good 5-6 players away from even competing for an 8 spot. Oh yeah, we need a true #1 goalie on top of that.

I would not say unloading on fans at all. He is speaking the truth and the atmosphere is probably the worst in the league right now. If I was a player, it would probably be the last city I would choose. When they are winning though, it's a whole different story.
