She's admitted at the hospital in downtown San Salvador now, a pulmonologist was consulted. She's OK at the moment, but we have to worry about pulmonary Edema from the excess salt water. Sometimes it can be delayed onset so monitoring is key right now. I fear that she will fear the beach from now on.

Will Sabres Make the Playoffs In 2022-23?
Wyldnwoody44 replied to bob_sauve28's topic in The Aud Club
As much as I would love to see the end of the season roll into this one. It's just not happening. We will have an OK start and an adjustment as other teams step on the gas... That adjustment will keep us 8-10 points out of the playoff race for the 2nd Half of the season. Hope I'm wrong. -
This isn't awesome overall, idk where to post this, but this day has been insane, and not in the best way. I was at a beach in Eastern El Salvador with a friend and her family. We rented an 8 Bedroom house on the beach and we were enjoying the day a lot. We went for a swim in the Pacific.... This is where it gets awful. I ventured out into the waves (I was previous Navy) so I'm comfortable with this, my friend, Maria decided to follow me. I told her to stay back but she went ahead of me.... The waves grabbed her an pulled her out to sea. I swam as hard as I could as she yelled help and was drifting away, but I could not break the current at all. I swam back to the shore, her family was in a panic (rightfully so) I ran to the closest casa with a boat and we took off on a rescue mission....We found her wayyyy out past the breakers, alive thankfully but in rough shape. Oxygen on shore was only 70% and she was full of sea water and in shock. I got her stabilized with the help of some locals. We called the beach vacation over and are driving to a hospital in San Salvador now. I feel so bad that I couldn't reach her and I feel so awful. Thankfully, she will make a full recovery it seems. The ocean is a Mother F***ER and when the tides change, we are helpless.

It's been 2 years, on the flight down here my R leg/calf swolled up so bad I almost fell when I stood up because I couldn't feel my foot. It's a mystery, a fasciotomy may not even help, but at this point, doing nothing is still slowing whatever this is to keep progressing.

Ha, No one F's with Liam Both Albania and Kosovo were AWESOME.

I'm down in El Salvador again, I just love this country. Amazing coffee, people are so kind, weather is great. I could see myself retiring here or Albania someday.

Rochester Americans Have Addressed A Racist Incident

Everyone that has Web MD thinks they know what is exactly wrong with them as soon as they walk in. It reaches all aspects of life. Technology has changed this Indefinitley. -
They were awesome, and I skipped the penguins as the line was kinda long. I got to rock the coasters in the AM before all the families showed up! Yeah the guy knew right away I wasn't buying, when I started talking about my travel experiences, they know I would never buy a timeshare 😂😂 actually at the end, I made friends with the sales manager and he wanted to recreate a travel wall like I have in my living room. I feel ya there, it's everywhere. We eat it up in droves as a society though. People will go to the Coke flagship store and drop a ton of money on Merchandise, just to be free advertisement for the product.

Yeah, it's not good, it's all kinda crap. But I like to be thrifty sometimes and that's a lot of stuff for 90 minutes of my time. As for zoos/aquariums etc, they are sad, I can get behind places that take animals that have no chance of survival in the wild and keep them. I just also happen to really like Roller coasters and they have a bunch 😂

Sat through one of those timeshare things, got 2 free days at Sea World with free parking, free airboat tour, 175$ cash, and a voucher for a week free at one of the properties. I'm at Sea World today hanging with the Orcas, they called me back to do another 1 hour session to try and sell me and offered even more free stuff, I may just have to do it.

Mad max 61 diving through center ice, I vividly remember that OT goal and celebration, such an exciting team. The one SOG where Miller reached behind his back/head and stopped it on the goal line, it was crazy and the most hasek like save since Dom himself Kasparitus scoring in OT for PIT to knock buffalo out, it seemed like such a weak shot that best one of the best. (similar to when Ottawa beat us in playoffs, I think it was Spezza or Alfredsson) Pegula's speech, I thought we were going to be perennial winners, spend to the cap, this team was going places.... Little did we know. Getting KO, the Sabres were a team that didn't really attract good free agents, this felt like a little changing of the guard. HM, Hasek vs Brodeur, what a game.

I'd be less of a misanthrope for one solid day. -
I'm quickly heading towards Bilateral 3 compartment Fasciotimies of my lower legs.... I have ruled out almost everything including a negative EMG of my legs and lumbar spine as of this morning. Angiogram, venogram, MRI, MRA, MRV, Brain MRI to rule out MS plaques, Shockwave therapy and phisiolgy to achilles, PT, etc etc. Still with unbearable calf swelling that makes my foot numb after exercise, but has progressed to swelling just whenever it wants, I'm running out of options and tests. This sucks @ss

I am a bit hesitant because I remember when we drafted Zegmus at around the same spot, he was supposed to be this tough power forward... I like Z, but he's replaceable. -
I'll have to look into the thin blue line thing, I've seen stickers and t shirts with it, but I honestly have no clue what it means, I just assumed it was always a thing for law enforcement. It doesn't, but it stemmed from a post about a hockey event. Moving on.

I could be off, but I would say that it's 90/10% in terms of upstanding vs thug. Sadly as always, the minority ruins it for the moral majority. I guess we could get rid of all of these appreciation nights and just do more kids days and save the one appreciation night for the fans and alumni per year. I'm not a big fan of the anthem at sporting events, I could get behind getting rid the others, I just think the cause isn't as erroneous as some think with the one up thread.
-
The point of law enforcement appreciation night? It sure does, I'm all for it, irregardless of what happened near the arena. I along with multiple state troopers have been repeatedly assaulted by methheads all week. So that's what has happened to me, step into my world and maybe you'll adjust your thinking. Maybe not. But those guys (and gals) deal with the scum of humanity day in and day out, one night of appreciation at a hockey game isn't too much now is it. This world has forgotten the mantra that actions have consequences and its clearly showing.
-
Ha.... Innocent.... Anywhooo keep the night as planned. Law enforcement deal with some ***** on a nightly basis, let's show a little respect when we can.

Yes sharks are very gentle, they get a bad rap. I was supposed to cage dive with the Great Whites in Guadalupe island next week, but sadly the Mexican government pulled all permits to the bioreserve until the end of the year. So that trip will have to wait.

Annual expectations thread 2022/23: #31 Eric Comrie

He will play 53 games, a. 917 save percentage and a 1.91 GAA, we make it to game 7 of the 2nd round where we lose to NY rags in OT on a fluke goal. We are collectively sad, but still overall ecstatic from the SuperBowl party that's held all February long in Buffalo
