  1. The company policy said that you are not allowed to leave? Is that even legal?!?? Or are they saying you must quarantine if you leave the state? NY and papa Cuomo just changed the guidelines for Covid travel, not sure it makes it any better, maybe simpler, but getting a test isn't quite as easy yet as it should be for most people, considering it's November. Also Swamp, you think I don't change my mask, what am I some Neanderthal 😉
  2. I am close to 99% that my bacterial pneumonia came from wearing masks all day every day. The pathogen that caused it, it's what is grown out on dirty masks. Working in a hospital doesn't help either, I honestly would have rather had Covid.
  3. That was wayyyy too close for comfort. Cam should know better there, I get it was a good play on D, but you basically have OT almost all but in the bag with a realistic chance of the lead. No complaints here, but he literally and figuratively, dropped the ball.
  4. Thanks, I'm trying, admittedly I'm not the best patient 😂
  5. Got a chest xray at work and got a big honkin Right Lower Lobe pneumonia, I'm leaving early today, this one is lingering something fierce.
  6. Let's just hope zegmus doesn't take out one of the new guys in training camp, this is the Sabres after all.
  7. Thanks, temporary ED is definitely occurring 😂 Got my Covid and flu swabs back and they are negative, so I have one of the other 500 viruses floating around or I have pneumonia. That's my bet.
  8. Been fighting off a fever of 102.4, bad muscle aches, fatigue, cough. I did work overnight on Friday and tested myself and was negative, symptoms worsened a bit after that shift. I'm not allowed to go back to work until I'm fever free for 24 hours without antipyretic medicine and 2 negative tests. So off I go today for rapid swab #2, I'm no football coach either, but I can admit that they way my company handled my illness is pretty decent and fair. Chances are I have the flu, or pneumonia, I tend to get it yearly because of asthma. I've put myself on some meds and am riding it out at home.
  9. It's 2020 man, I don't know up from down anymore.
  10. I find it easier to allow a younger man to grow and learn than I do allowing the Kanes of the league pull their crap as adults.
  11. I'll just say this, that CBS crew was straight up terrible. Are we relegated to getting the 5th string crew every week? Somehow they still found a way to polish the Jets balls even when they were getting manhandled in the 2nd half.
  12. The lack of discipline is concerning
  13. I've been to 82 countries, including opening a clinic and an helping to open an orphanage in Uganda 4 years ago, in the past 6 weeks I've been to Brazil, Puerto Rico and Mexico. With all respect, it is the world, even so outside of the USA. Unfortunatley some of my opinion and perspective comes from the amount of exposure I've had in my personal and professional career. Ignorance is bliss, but it's impossible to unlearn and unsee.
  14. I'm interested in this reading thing, sounds pretty neato 📖🙃
  15. I'm still all about my 16$ Dahlin knockoff from China. It's not quite 100% but for the price it's close enough 🙂
  16. It's early and I spent all night working, a rather rough evening, I saw 4 Covid positive patients, they were all able to go home..... You know who were the sickest patients of the night though? The 4 that were alcoholics, just absolutley rough, including a young one in total liver failure. Here we are in 2020 and the rousing topic of convo are mask debates... Wtf happened to this world? Off to sleep for me soon
  17. @SwampDwhat the hell are you doing up anyways.😂😉
  18. Maybe sometimes, but balls deep on an overnight shift as I currently am, I may be misreading, people are cray cray tonight 😬
  19. That is a bit much eh, open it up yes, I'm not saying I don't empathize with those who may get infected, but the death rate is relatively low, and it's getting lower, at a certain point we have to quit hiding our tails. It doesn't matter, we haven't been on the same page, or even the same library since the beginning.
  20. I'm used to it, being on the unpopular side of opinion draws these kind of personal jabs. Nevermind that I have rather vast experience in pandemic medicine, it just happens to be on another continent so it doesn't matter here. I still keep posting though so I guess I ask for it.
