Punting is part of the game, but someone here ran some stats a couple years ago, that going on 4th down in many situations equaled the same if not better than punting. It's different if it's 4th and 16 from your own 4, but in many cases going for it, isn't as risky as it seems.

I really really hope that we do not lament the loss of a punter, in fact, after the Moorman being the only pro bowl guy on our team, I think we just go for it on 4th down every time

My continuing hate of people continues Just this week, I was accused of being a racist, because I drove by McKinley high and a bunch of teenagers were being absolute douche bags, I was stopped with the top down, and they were acting like kids, but the kind that need some more parenting. Well I mentioned it and said man someone needs to keep those kids in check (clearly they were mostly African American) and that's all it took, I was read the riot act and etc etc. I let it go about 5 minutes and I calmly pulled out my pictures from Africa and as I went through each one, I could see that this individual could not backtrack quicker. I felt the need to vent here, the ignorance I deal with on a daily drives me to want to move to Africa. End rant

I tend to agree, at this point, finishing 31st with the "tankfruit" means the tank did what it was supposed to do, get us eichel, and nothing more than that. We are so far removed, and with new management, it's almost impossible to correlate the now with the then, it's basically apples and oranges at this point. The tank was a success for what it was intended, but a failure in making the team good. We added new shiny pieces this year, idk if they'll fit together, but something has to break eventually.

Remember in the other thread you mentioned the weather and me being in Africa..... Well I flew to Utah to hike after and it's broken 110 degrees here every single day, makes Africa seem comfortable. Thank god it's a drier heat than I'm used to, I'm pretty sure I'm getting heat stroke before I'm home. I also went rogue in the canyon water I did find and smashed my face on some rocks and am 73 percent sure I broke my nose.
