Skinners game has always been about creating by himself. He’s practically never had a good center feeding him. He’s the smaller, more finesse version of Evander Kane. But like most players, he gets a boost when the talent around him matches his talent.

Cozens might help next year, not will help. We need certainty at 2C (and possibly 2RW as well) for the 2nd half of this season and next season at a minimum. And then fit guys like Cozens in as they show ability.

I'm an admitted Scrooge when it comes to Christmas music. Just about all of it is shlock. I tolerate it Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and try to keep the playlist on the classical side of Christmas (as in orchestra, not Bing Crosby), although I get much protesting from the gene pool. As far as radio played Christmas tunes.... Little Drummer Boy. And that's about it. It's a pretty powerful song, really. It brings up the dust in the room.

I suspect that these two are close enough that we might be having this conversation every season. And who's better might go back and forth each season.

This was, of course, the real motivation for the deal.

He's classic AAAA. Now that we have some more depth at forward he's being used like he should be, and his numbers reflect that. Not unlike Girgensons having promising numbers when he got 1C minutes and situations and then coming down to earth when he got the ice time and situations he should have been getting.
