Jack Eichel prefers Surgery on neck injury; done for the season.

So nothing about Bert requesting a trade then. -
I hate that we are a society that almost automatically assigns extremely negative personality traits to people we don’t agree with. We didn’t agree with how RK approached coaching and we label him a con artist.

So we’re staying this weekend at a bed and breakfast we’ve been going to almost every year for the last 20 years. The first time we ever stayed here, in the middle of the stay I had a kidney stone decide it wanted out. 20 yrs later and here I am, kidney stone raising hell again.

25th Anniversary of the last Sabres game at 'The Aud': April 14, 1996

As someone who purchased more than a few SRO tix I can say with some certainty that SRO was often over sold so there were plenty of people looking over the shoulder of those who had a beer rail. -

I seem to recall at some point before the Aud closed that the city stopped allowing SRO tix due to occupancy ordinances, so I am surprised a bit to here they had SRO tix for that last game. -
Reservations required and most places are already booked. They are doing small table reservations with higher prices and bigger pours but fewer selections. And less personal interaction. Pre Covid we used to come on Wed-Thu as out first days and have long conversations with the winemakers and brewers. More distance and formality so far.

I don’t see Adams as a lose on purpose personality at all. No doubt in my mind he wants to see Linus back asap. -
The folks looking to protect Borgen are projecting a more balanced defence. There is significant value in that. He’s also a player that still has room to grow. Risto is wysiwyg.

I think this is great to hear. We need him to be all in or find someone who is. This is not inevitable. The team does not have to revolve around any one player.

All on the list. I have to do a whiskey tasting.

Hope you like Belgian influence in your beer.

Its our next stop. Abandon is a good reason why we come here. Not uncommon for us to spend the better part of a day there.

We’re staying in a farm house just east of Keuka Lake so will concentrate there.

We’re long time veterans of this. Seneca Farms has been a lunch spot tor 20 yrs

We’re in the Finger Lakes for the next 4 days. Wow have things changed at the wineries since Covid has hit.

No it wasn’t. It was a trade of now for next year. Connolly had 2 full NHL seasons under him and was a proven 40pt center that was still moving up. And Bernier had half an NHL season under him. You could equate Pyatt to Tage Thompson but Connolly was a known quantity. It seemed like a bad trade because Peca was a fan favorite, not because we got back unproven commodities.

I still have the give away poster from that game hanging in my office. I gave up season tickets that season. There was a pretty big price jump in anticipation of the move to the new arena and season tix were no longer affordable for me. My wife and I sat in the lower blues behind the opposition net for that game. Prior to that season our tix were 1st row oranges about blue line.
