  1. Still wanna see a 2C from the outside brought in.
  2. You could have just said “me” and saved all the typing. 😁
  3. The difference it makes is they get to choose from a bigger list who they draft. Is that significant this time around? WTF knows.
  4. I’m not convinced Sam is more valuable to us at center, especially when Jack returns (if?), but he absolutely can play center. I still think Pat Sharp is the right comparable, who also could play center when needed.
  5. How many of you no wheels on the bag guys ride 18 holes?
  6. Brian Holzinger might be the guy you are thinking of.
  7. Bjork may very well have been the player coming back for the purpose of exposing him instead of someone else. Ahhh you already got me
  8. He’s def a proven 80pt player. No argument there.
  9. Thorny, and I am almost certain you know this, you can’t be a 90 pt player if you aren’t in enough games to score 90 pts in a season.
  10. You. You’ve been added to the list.
  11. Yeah, not even close. Strange anyone would think Drury approaches Eichel's talent level. Drury had an intangible about him that Eichel lacks, but I can't really define it so I can't say it isn't bull ***** either.
  12. That was a
  13. The 7 yr deal seems to be a result of the last players union contract. Buffalo hadn’t had a good signing since then, but Buffalo has done most things wrong since then.
  14. Show me one team that has successfully managed doing what you propose.
  15. Giving 26 yr old players 7 year contracts is the price you have to pay to have very good 26 year old players. You will likely trade off every good player you have at 26-27 if you aren't willing to give out those contracts. There really isn't any getting around it for a player at Sam's level and above.
  16. M W shenanigans started with no expectations. Lets start putting some expectations on this #####. Must. Win.
  17. I will be very disappointed if we don’t do that this offseason.
  18. Stylistically he is much more Krupp or McKee than Hajt. Mule is a good nickname. He uses his size and strength to overwhelm forwards.
  19. You and I are on the same page (again).
  20. Your last part is what I am getting at. We need to move one or two of the same type of player to get a Mike Foligno.
  21. I second Mule. It is done.
  22. No, I am judging the roster content and their expected ability to be able to adapt. They pretty much have 1 style of forward, 4th line aside. The lack of diversity of skill sets and styles of the top 3 lines is going to be limiting once teams have a normal season to scout and adjust.
  23. The thing I notice most about Samuelsson (he needs a nickname so I do think need so many letters) is stylistically he is similar to McKee, Krupp, Ramsey, his size and strength already allows him to be “heavier” than they were. He really gets guys off the puck with seeming ease.
  24. I’m not sold on your last sentence. They appear a kind of a one trick pony in terms of how they need to play to be successful. I don’t see this squad as one that can adapt different styles/gameplans and succeed. Decent teams will adjust and if this squad can’t adapt it will look ugly.
