We’ve seen players go out with injuries that become long injuries for the entire duration of the Era of Suckitude. My theory is the team is consciously choosing to not rush them back because winning isn’t a priority.

My preference is definitely for a helpful player that another team can no longer afford. I’ll take an overpriced but still good player as long as the remaining term isn’t hurtful. But I am open to a 1yr cap dump for a pick/prospect.

Ugh! Ive had 4 or 5 of them. The first was large enough that it became an obstruction so they had to go in and get it. Roto-Rooter is NOT FUN! The others were fine, but a miserable experience nonetheless. Drink tons of water and hope it passes quickly.

I’m actually surprised the Dell incident isn’t getting more conversation here. I don’t think it was dirty. IOW I don’t think he meant anything other than to knock him off stride. It certainly was dangerous and ill advised. I think it is 1-3 games worthy.

Seeing as Dell has already been quoted as saying he was trying to buy his defenseman some time (aka interference), saying now that he was defending himself is not likely to be effective.

My recollection was that Briere was mostly playing wing at first, as was Connolly. Maybe my memory is not correct. I mentioned the similarity in depth without an elite player a little while back. A counter was made that Briere was elite. I never saw him that way, but I may not be in the majority with that view. Regardless, the situation may turn out to be similar in terms of numbers of 2C level centers on the team.

I don’t think we’d notice the difference between subtracting Hayden and subtracting Bjork.

I’m guessing Krebs Mitts Bjork gets 3rd line minutes tonight and VO Cozens Asplund is even with Thompson line minutes. I haven’t been paying attention. Is DG still not line matching with the opponent?
