  1. Der Fuhrer Poloncarz has mandated masks again and is threatening Vaccine mandates along with potential lockdowns. I have the vaccine and the booster already; but I know a person who literally can't have the vaccine due to allergies. (They are allergic to one of the ingredients) Why should they be ostracized? This has become Orwellian in their desire to control the populace.
  2. Where is this info coming from? Nothing I read has painted the Pegulas as anything worse than either meddlers and/or well-intentioned incompetents. You do know that most owners buy their way into the ownership role if they don't inherit it. All sports franchises are their owners' playthings to a degree regardless. NHL teams more than most due to their near permanence in losing money.
  3. Defensive hockey sense, almost certainly. Offensive hockey sense is either great or terrible but never anywhere in between from subject to subject.
  4. I doubt any owner would ever take the blame for their team's screw ups; that's literally holding the Pegulas to an unrealistic standard. Financial Issues, potentially, the Sabres specifically however are far more likely than the Pegulas personally too much of a jerk to fess up, already explained this one above. An owner will rarely if ever apologize for bad on-ice/field etc performance instead blaming everyone else, I agree but seeing as blame has to go somewhere it doesn't exactly mean much treating his players like cattle.. is not really true in Buffalo. Our players have a great locker room, and quite a lot of perks with the job. Most players leave fond of their treatment but angry/bitter about the results. I'll take Lehner's situation with a grain of salt seeing as they got rid of the staff members involved years ago and Eichel had already decided he wished to be traded and the Sabres did nothing against the CBA in regards to him. this isn't going to end well, for us we have no clue; hopefully we are turning things around at this time
  5. Butcher injured or did he end up benched for the 3rd?
  6. Heartbreaker, that's all I have. Feel rather depressed today between the Bills and Sabres.
  7. I'm unsure how to read this comment?
  8. Including the WJC I assume? If he continues at this pace we may need to sign him to have more of a challenge lol
  9. I believe its a tad slowed down, The other clip is slowed a tad to show the dekes more clearly. In real time its more of a fast movement followed by a slow goal score
  10. Krebs got nearly kneed down in OT for no penalty. Malone bumps Frost from behind gets called. Samuelsson blocked 2 crucial shots on the PK Quinn & Peterka with SO goals to win. Quinn had a Patrick Kane style goal.
  11. Doubt Bjugstad will ask for his money back after that BS pulled by the coach.
  12. I was going for the Classic loonie tunes one https://www.youtube.com/embed/pQxh9Sn0Id8?start=22
  13. What I would give to see someone sucker punch Lucic into a concussion protocol.
  14. Well, let's see what Granato can do during the intermission. I want to see them flying like Pittsburgh was against us.
  15. Probably part of it; as a whole we can compete with far better teams but when they begin shortening their benches the difference between skill levels becomes more pronounced. Additionally we produce less offensive pressure since we have no way to brutalize their weaker defensemen who tend to be sat. It would fall into the same reasoning the Oilers fail in the playoffs in part, but in reverse. The Oilers have 2 incredible players who when on 1 line; if they can be cancelled out, or at least contained, the other 3 lines get caved by their opponent. Our problem is that our depth is pretty capable but we lack much of any top end scoring or playmaking. Effectively, on the road it becomes far more pronounced as we can’t play matchups. Even if Cozens can end up in a draw with Crosby, Pittsburgh can merely shift around Cozens to give Crosby our lesser line of scraps with R2 and Bjork. And once they start grooving it makes Cozens’ job even harder to the point the dam begins to crack and leak.
  16. One guy I thought of is Kris Letang who's a UFA. While not a Defensive Dman he's a seasoned vet with 3 Cup rings and was arguably the 1D in all of those runs. We'd certainly be able to pay him for a 2 year contract and he could be a mentor for a group of multiple young dmen. Samuelsson - Dahlin Power - Letang Bryson - Jokiharju Pysyk That would give us quite a deep D corps, especially with the number of guys in Rochester still such as Laaks, Fitzgerald, and a newly signed Ryan Johnson
  17. I’ll certainly give you that
  18. To be honest I don’t like her pbp. Her high voice gets grating rather quickly and when goals aren’t happening she has a tendency to get more quiet until the crowd noise starts overtaking her. Weeksey is a good color commentator but I don’t think any woman works well in a play by play role. It’s all in the voice.
  19. What a drag of a game, Amerks put great amounts of pressure but couldn't get enough to go in. UPL played ok but let in an embarrassingly bad goal which ended up the GWG for Utica.
  20. Can it with the negative waves man. Lol
  21. Have to say I liked Granato’s postgame interview. He wasn’t happy with the 3rd and that’s a far cry from only being dissatisfied with losses.
  22. Hayden drops out 1st, then either R2 (to Rochester) or Bjork likely for the 2nd. Caggiula would come out for Tuch in January They will likely shuffle the JAGs a bit once we actually get our full roster back.
