  1. Could Nazar become our own Brayden Point? Offensive dynamo and solid defensively? Ot would work well if we ended up with both or Nazar + a guy like Gauthier/Snuggerd/etc (big bodied players with talent)
  2. Bandits win!!!!
  3. Doubt they'd need to if Levi can just tell them about him; good for secretive interest.
  4. Does that mean he’s in remission or just able to train again?
  5. As pasta said, their incompetence got them multiple 1sts and then allowed them to steal McDavid out from under us. The Sabres incompetence never really got us anything; we never moved up via lottery and our tank fruit spoiled
  6. Lucic 1x5.25mil NTC -- I never want him in Buffalo after what he did to Miller Monahan 1x6.375mil M-NTC -- Multiple leg injuries and surgeries have left him a shell of a player N. Foligno 1x3.8mil - M-NTC -- Has slowed down fiercely these past two years Skjei 2x5.25mil M-NTC -- If his analytics are bad with that D group then I want nothing to do with him Sissons 4x2.857mil -- 4th liner; he's literally Girgensons production wise if not slightly less Bailey 2x5mil -- 3rd line winger Cizikas 5x2.5mil -- Way too long of a contract Clutterbuck 2x1.75mil -- Old man 1 Martin 2x1.5mil -- Old man 2
  7. Any nuggets from our inside source or was he not there for the physicals?
  8. So out of the 6 D and 12 Fs, 13 need to be under a certain level of experience correct? How does that interact with the pair of goalies? Who counts next year as developmental players still besides Rousek, Rosen and Bloom?
  9. Let us not replace a locker room cancer with literal cancer…. Sorry I just had to. I do hope he makes a full recovery regardless and can still play the game he loves after he beats it.
  10. As for #3 there. While more drafted player are playing for them, most of their big contributors, not in goal, are not. Panarin, Zibanajad, Trouba, Fox, Copp, Vatrano are all acquisitions. 3 of which forced their way there. Home grown players are Miller, Lafreniere, Kakko, Chytil, old man Kreider, Lindgren. Besides the old man, their roster is backwards to how most top teams are made. Most top teams draft 3/4th of their core and add external pieces around it to fill in the depth. They are very odd in that regard
  11. Guess the Sabres were unimpressed by the SHLs continuous screwing with his development
  12. Makes sense to slow cook him due to his frequent injuries. He needs to prove that he can survive a season without missing substantial time while maintaining good numbers. Hell one of the reasons I was against signing Ullmark was for his availability being questionable.
  13. Lambert is a no touchy with #9, the fact he fell so much and the supposed reasons raise red flags. At #16 however I’d be more open to it.
  14. Seeing as he has a grand total of 1 RFA goalie and 5 UFA goalies (including Houser) would necessitate some degree of attention regardless. That being said, if they intend to stress test UPL with 60 game is Rochester next year; they'll need a tandem better than Anderson + Tokarski
  15. That would be a train wreck to be honest. Gudbranson isn’t a good Dman and has had a grand total of 1 good season with CGY under Darryl Sitter’s defensive structure. He failed miserably in any more loose game plan, Pittsburgh and Vancouver. Zadorov is extremely inconsistent in his play. I watched him with Chicago spend a few games as a defensive stalwart only play some games at Mezaros level. I honestly have no idea if Subban can do what Teppo and Patrick did. Subban’s persona is loud and entertaining which wouldn’t mesh with playing a secondary role focusing on defense and mentorship. He seems like a great guy but also might be overly energized to the point of drowning out our young leaders in the making who might be a bit quieter in the locker room. If we can’t get a DeMelo or a more defensive skewed player; I’d perhaps offer him a 1 year deal at 4mil with him fully agreeing to the role of vet/mentor/no spotlight on the ice role. If he agrees, give him a year to prove it to management and himself. If he hates the role after trying it; he’s less than 3 hours from Toronto and can become a broadcast guy without even having to move.
  16. I wonder if Jokiharju gets a gold even though he never got to play due to COViD
  17. I wouldn’t go that far but I do feel he’s not exactly the greatest team player. His whole stunt before his trade in CBJ raised many red flags for me. If your feuding with the coach, fine, but don’t dog it and hurt your teammates in an effort to make a point.
  18. The hybrid size it’s in between the classic international and NHL size. Supposedly hybrid and NHL style rinks are where Europe in going to over time. Cozens made a couple plays, made a couple nice drives with drop passes with PLD
  19. I'd take Malcolm Subban for Rochester and Pysyk for Rochester
  20. I understand the practice idea but I’d much rather stock more forwards than 2 extra d who won’t play much
  21. Why wouldn’t we carry 14 forwards? We typically have. 14 F, 7 D and 2 G If Pysyk doesn’t get any offers in the NHL and we upgrade from him; I’d offer him 2.25 mil for 1 year to play in Rochester and bring stability to that train wreck of a D
  22. Honestly I'm just wanting a bit of competition for Asplund/Quinn/Peterka and Bjork doesn't count. But it has to be a specific type of piece. Hornqvist is more for his net front work and even more so for his Cup Rings. Copp strikes me as another Tuch-like player that could seriously give our Top 6 some size with skill that isn't a rookie.
  23. Could of sworn that was the reason why he's slid beneath Nemec on most boards
  24. Alright, didn't get to see the 3rd/OT so I was unsure as to what happened in regards to the penalty more than the "puck over glass" part
