In other news. Hanzal of the Coyotes put out 3 Canucks with crafty stickwork last night. All within 5 minutes of play. Crosschecks to the ribs on santorelli and sedin and the last one a crosscheck to the neck of Booth. The league should look at the last one with the other two taken into consideration.

From the way he was acting previous this young player has been a headcase anyways. Sometimes players need a kick in the butt.

Agreed. This is the time of year GMs throw out the carrot to see who's interested. Also to motivate players.

Good post and I agree. Its not his fault he's been mismanaged but he needs to report to the Q , put in his time and develop his skills. Aside from Darcy Regier I agree with all of these hockey minds that can all agree that he's just not ready. DR bungled this from the start.

I question whether he can succeed in the A.H.L. at this point never mind the N.H.L. The kid should do as he's told and pay his dues. His time will come. If he continues to make a stink cut him loose. Get what you can for him and send a message to every other player in the Sabres system that you are not bigger than the team.

This wouldn't be a step back. For these guys its a new challenge. Mike Gillis came from the ranks of the agents with no G.M. experience at all. I think you're dealing with massive ego with a lot of these guys and there's only so many ways they can sate that.
