    50 ? Wow. That number is staggering. Its really hard to comprehend that the Olympics as they exist now can survive. 50 billion dollars for a 2 week event ? Its mind boggling.

    Apparently 30 billion dollars spent on Sochi. The train/highway into Sochi cost more than the entire Vancouver Olympics. I have no proof and this is me speculating but much of that 30 billion no doubt ended up in the hands of mafia types that run the building trades in the form of payolas, bribes and kickbacks. Just my op.

    I missed the game but caught the lowlights. Just an observation but Enroth sukced so bad on the 3 he let in. Just so friggin bad. This team could not win with him manning the net if their lives depended on it. This team is bad. Real bad. But their backup goalie is vexed. Tonight he was just awful. Sorry Jonus but your game needs work. Breath. Breath. O.k , I'll be fine.

    Maybe I was being generous with a few years. Done right there's no reason we can't look like that team. Problem is we have so much dead weight ala Leino, Stafford, etc. who seem untradable based on their contracts and output. Hopefully Murray is up to the task. First order of business is #1 this year and #1 in 2015. Tank you very much. ;)

    As much as it was like having my eyes gouged out to watch that display of ineptitude seeing Colorado play has me believing that this pain we're feeling now can in a few short years become very similar to what they have. Aside from Zemgus I'd trade anyone on this team if the return marked an improvement to this roster. What we have here does not constitute an NHL roster. Its unbelievable that DR actually fooled TPegs into believing he had this franchise on the right path. What a charlatan.

    Going to see Yes in March. I'm not so much a fan but they were gift tickets from a friend. Front row. Feel bad about telling my good buddy Hippy Rob who is an absolute Yes fanatic. He'll want to kill me when he finds out I got a ticket and me and my other bud Pedro are going. Such is life.

    Heard Doug McLean on sport talk radio today and for what its worth he says Callahan is only worth 4 mil. So yes 7 mil which he'll likely get is insane money. Free agent frenzy isn't the prudent way to build a team. Its too much for a player of his caliber and Zemgus could very well be that player in 3 years when you still have 4 years left on Callahans 7 year deal.
