    Its odd that in the opening ceremonies the speeches talked an awful lot about tolerance and acceptance of diversity etc. I don't recall the exact wording but tolerance was mentioned numerous times. Lip service I'm afraid. Then the athlete that lit the torch just happens to be the same chick that tweeted the picture a few years ago of President Obama and his wife while she held the banana in the frame.

    I remember drinking myself sober quite a few times on beer which would never happen on spirits. On spirits its drink yourself stupor. Or stupider.

    Hodgson has been invisible. I asked during the Ottawa game if he was playing injured. I haven't heard so I'll suppose its just the usual inconsistency of a young player on a dreadful team.

    I'm reading the Brothers karamazov. Its really good but my fave is Gogol mostly for his humour. Dead souls was great.
