  1. I guess. But I'll still enjoy watching his style of game even on the Lanche. Always looking to blow someone up with a big hit is exciting.
  2. I'm an excited hypocrite. Pre trade I was against for various reasons. Now I'm just excited. Is it o,k, to change ones mind ?
  3. Things are looking up in Buffalo. Ridding this team of Regier is imo the single greatest thing thats ever happened to this team in the last 20 years.
  4. Is that what he said ? I missed it.
  5. ok,ok . I'm on record with saying i didn't want ROR but I'm strangely ok with this. Sorry to lose big Z and the Lanche got one load o players in this deal. JT possibly becomes ROR for them ?
  6. Yeah I don't like the trade and taking emotions out of it what you're saying makes a lot of sense. There's a lot of the day still to come and GMTM has time to redeem himself.
  7. Fax machine don't let me down
  8. GMTM you don't still work for your uncle.
  9. There goes the happy warm feeling I had this morning
  10. I agree. This is what Vancouver talk radio was reporting yesterday. Benning said a deal for Lack would happen either last night or this morning.
  11. Damn hipster. I don't like his beard.
  12. If I knew how to do it I would but somebody help me out. Go on youtube and look up the video ' back in lack ' and post it. Vancouver has a love affair with this guy. Fans have started a petition not to trade him. Radio talk hosts in Vancouver call him the identity of the team. All this for their backup. Is he the guy for us ?
  13. I'll go on record against selling the farm for ROR. If I'm wrong in hindsight a few years from now give me the gears. 8 mil. for 20 goals plus some decent intangibles is too much. We can develop our own ROR in big Z or whomever we have in the pipeline that projects into that type of role. Its too early to say none of our guys can develop into that type of player.
  14. Dec. 6th at Edmonton. The showdown ?
  15. At some point in the not too distant future we are going to have the most dynamic line in the league.
  16. Mmmm. I wonder if they'll have slots in the washrooms ? :flirt: Its guaranteed they'll have craps.
  17. History didn't repeat itself with Nolan. Two extremes in either direction. In the first case he walked because he was offered a short deal after winning the Jack Adams in the second he was fired. His coaching style was largely the same but as to the reasons for leaving town night and day.

    RFAs

There'll come a time when we may be hard up against the cap and teams would offer sheet us as payback. The old boys network is alive and I'm not sure Murray fits in with that crowd. I hope he plays nice mostly because at a time like this when we're still developing the draft picks we give as compensation could sting to lose. Better to use in a trade for the player we need imo.
  19. It was the thumb screws
  20. We need more guys exactly like him. Type A's
  21. Watching beerfest as i write this. Burp ! Silly but appropriate for the thread.
