    One word. GROWTH. Thats what this season is all about for me. Watching the kids gel and grow into a tight relentless machine. It'll take some time and a little patience as the pieces are added but man its going to be a fun ride . Its the journey AND the destination as we witness this all unfold and its going to be exhilarating. During the process we as Sabres fans will once again be able to hold our fandom out for all to see and proudly proclaim our allegiance to the Buffalo Sabres. Lets get this party started !

    I think thats what its actually all about. The players each want their own iconic photo holding the cup above their head in triumph post win. I'm o.k. with the ceremony. Its become a part of the tradition.

    The Canucks are apparently asking for a second for lack. Why offer them a first in Grigs ? If its some sort of bidding war I get it.

    Word is the Canucks would love to move Utica to Abbotsford which is about an hours drive from Van. Calgary currently has their farm there. Not sure how that could be worked out.

    Unfortunately Grigs troubles are some of the leftover stench of the Regier era in Buffalo. I feel for the kid and if anyone were to write a handbook on how to screw up a prospect one needs to look no further than the Sabres handling of MG. What a clusterf#&k. Hope he comes around.
