    The couple of times I've travelled in asia I learned pretty quickly to hoard paper napkins when they were available because at times the facilities had nothing but a hose for rinsing off. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to wipe with a damn hose. Luckily not all shittters over there were old school.

    I remember after seeing Samson in the world junior tourney thinking that this kid could be all world one day and lately he has really begun to fit that mold. Its early in his career but its looking like he may in his own way be better than Jack. Maybe not better but perhaps as good as. Such a heady player and lots of fun to watch. Some of the subtle things he does amaze me. Its been great seeing him develop into a valuable part of this core.

    Anyone ever have a Nanaimo bar ? Technically it prolly ain't a cake but if its sweet and cut into squares I consider it a cake. It was invented here in Nanaimo and is absofrickinlutely delicious. Look it up.

    And thank you LGR. Another voice of reason. This season has gone pretty much as I'd hoped it would. Young guns have shown improvement, we are in most games and across the board for the most part we have shown improvement in areas we were deficient in last year. This offseason the draft and the leadup to next season is going to be exciting. More change and more improvement.
