Tonight I'll avoid the show like the plague then avoid all forms of social media and television as long as I can. What will likely happen next is a truck full of crazed and ignorant/arrogant leafs / Oilers / Canucks / Bruins fans will drive screaming past my house on their way to some god forsaken celebration somewhere. I jest, I'll watch. I've always enjoyed good theatre and I'm sure Bettman and his favourite bald cohort will have some form of trickery up their sleeves. I wouldn't miss it for the world.

I hear ya. I caught my wife humming one of their songs in the car and asked her where she heard that and her station was her reply. I'm 51 so I'm not in their target group either but they got me.

21 pilots are great. The first time I heard stressed out it was in my head for a week. Went to youtube and found a wack more good to great songs by them. They are now high on my playlist.

I think my favorite moment was Eichs 3rd goal of the season. I believe it was against Ottawa where he stole the puck from their man at the blue line and skated back in to score. The strength he displayed to muscle the puck from that player and take it back in to score was a real eye opener for me. So friggin excited for whats to come with this guy.

The wife and myself are pretty strict with the household recycling. I've walked the 3 blocks to work for 10 years now and we actually bought our house in the old city quarter of town so we would be ' downtown ' and I could do exactly that. We can walk anywhere downtown from our house and public transit is literally a block away. So we own one car which is small and economical for the times we need to drive. There are areas where we could make improvements. I'm workin on that.

Thats too funny. They were falling all over themselves to write disparaging stuff about the Sabres of the last two years and the leafs have literally tore a page from the Sabres tank manual but to hear these guys tell the story the leafs are writing the book. Same thing happened today while listening to am 1040 out of Vancouver. Bro Jake and Dave Pratt were throwing names around for the Calder and went through the list of the usual suspects that were mentioned above and Eichs name never even came up. He isn't even in the conversation. I was dumbfounded that he isn't mentioned. Is it a Buffalo thing ? Why do people not take notice of this kid ? I don't understand it but it is what it is. Second in points and goals and they spent more time talking about McDavids abreviated season and whether he should get it or not.
