Eh, stuff happens. If they go in less than three touchdowns behind, and come out for the second half ready to play on both sides of the ball, the game can change pretty quick. That said, this has been painful to watch, as perfectly encapsulated in the play that should have been a sack, then a pick, but somehow bounced around until a Raven caught it for a 20+ yard gain. Woof.

I have no idea what is happening right now, and I wish it to stop immediately.

In all honesty, I’m not even mad about this one. Were it not for injuries to the starting and backup defensive midfielder (feel bad for Sambi Lokonga but he’s not ready for prime time at all), ridiculous but entirely predictable officiating, and a costly lack of ruthlessness up front… ugh. Didn’t play badly. On to the next hilarious screw-up.

I’m not throwing shade at anybody who does, but I can not be compelled to care. The question IMHO is are the Sabres investing enough in developing players in Roc. Is winning better than not winning? Sure. But if it comes down to making decisions that are the best for Roch this year or the Sabres going forward…. I know which side of the line I’m coming down on. I think too much was made about the ‘04-05 lockout Amerks who most certainly would not have been together entirely or for the whole year had there been an NHL season.
