Which is why, when your centers are terrible or don't do defense, much like some teams I can name, your wings either end up A. getting sucked deeper into the zone, thus making zone exits / transition near impossible to do well when you do get hold of the puck or B. lotsa goals against from unmarked dudes in the slot or C. an infuriating combination of both.
