    Sam doesn't give them any easy goal, we don't give up a shorthanded goal off a power play draw, and we come out to play in the second period, it's a very different game.

    He shouldn't be back until he shows that he can perform effectively. He hasn't basically played in the NHL for about a year. Three "training camp" games doesn't cut it.

    Sabres played well but have to do better against a fine PK like the Caps.' I'd love to have Mitch Korn back to work with our young goalies. Look what's he's done with Holtby and, of course, Hasek. If you've every watched this guy coach in his camps, you truly understand.

    Keep playing the kid. Johnson is a proven, mediocre commodity. We want to go beyond that and Linus is showing signs that we can.

    How do you focus such a clock on shots? They come suddenly and from all over the ice. It's not like baseball where you know exactly where the pitcher is about to throw from and can thus be ready for the pitch.

    Did he give Penn State 75 million to benefit economically? Sure he benefitted but not to that tune and beyond.

    Reinhart should be on a line with top tier players. If he's not, send him down. He'll get disallusioned and it will stunt his growth. It's like playing against mediocre players at tennis camp when you're good and have potential but are inexperienced.

    When's the last time we had someone with an elite shot? What a pleasure to test goalies for a change. Stafford and Eichel were both number one picks by the Sabres. Comparisons?

    Anyone ever hear of adjustment? He may not be ready but be a little more patient than you'll want to be with this defense and goaltending.

    Huge question marks. Is he truly over the concussion? If not, he shouldn't even be out there. We need to be targeting a decent second liner in case things don't improve early on.

    I'd rather have a defensman who can play defense rather than put up big numbers, unless his name is Orr, Pronger, and a few others.
