I despise this rule. I like the idea that someone posed earlier that counts only if the offender is offside. My issue is it seems a bit unfair that the only time you can have a offsides challenge is on a goal sequence. If its only reviewable given a set of circumstances, its a dumb rule. Would a team challenge an offsides that didn't lead to a goal? No. It's a "sour grapes" review that you can have only after a goal. I understand that you can't review every call coming into a zone. If you can't do that to get it right, why ONLY on goal scoring plays. Hate this.

I get the excitement here. Just watch the one faceoff where Jack wins, eaves between defensemen, and shoots on goal. There really aren't many people in the league that can do that. It's nice to finally watch a team that has that talented a player. You can compare him to whoever you want, and use any statistics you want to tell me who is better. Jack said it best. We did win the lottery. He is a game changer, at 18. He may not be the best just yet, but you can certainly see the talent that is there.

Speculation is Miami. It would be interesting to see what he can do without a high payroll.

What about trading Myers and Stafford for an Injured Kane? In my eyes, that was more damning to last season.

It's gotta be better for him to have the playing time in Rochester. He will get 20 mins a game and power play time. I hate watching such a talented player get lost in a role he has no business playing. He's not a third line guy, he needs experience. He can get that in Rochester, and get called up if a top six guy goes out.
