  1. Bogo is nogo if he can't stay healthy.
  2. I want to run from Lehner.
  3. Is the New York Store still in Lancaster? My father used to do work for them 60 some years ago.
  4. This thread is headache provoking.
  5. Such as how he hoped Lehner's size would enable him to simply cover the net and compensate for his lack of quickness.
  6. Bring in someone who has a clue about playing goaltender and fix the defense. Everything else will fall into place.
  7. He does need to be on a top line for a while. That's one of the big mistakes many NHL teams make. They bring up on in a top prospect and bury him until he becomes frustrated and loses all confidence. Never have understood that concept.
  8. Lehner needs more than a change of scenary. He's slow, not very athletic, and over commits. That won't change in another city. If he's still here next season, we remain in trouble.
  9. It's about time we clinched something. On the other hand .....
  10. He'll be a free agent, I believe. Caps may decide to pay him and shop Holtby, who has really been having problems lately.
  11. One more season start at Rochester for Nylander. If he's looking good, get him up and put him with some skill players.
  12. Just make sure next season he's paired with the right linemates. We obviously know that works.
  13. The initial post said Larsson and Girgensons would be excellent trade bait. For what? They're both huge disappointments, especially the latter. This roster needs major shock therapy. I liked what I saw of Rodrigues last season. He continues to progress and should be paired with decent offensive talent. That rookie line has potential. Don't ruin a prospect like Mittelstadt by treating him like a savior and putting too much pressure on him. Let him develop at his own pace, even if it means having him start at Rochester next season. The offense will slowly come around (they've scored the second fewest goals in the league so can't get much worse). The defense, including goaltending, is another story. It's basically offensive. Hard to know where to start, aside from Gorges. Lehner has to go (rhymes with slow). He should have left with his mentor, Murray. Botterill has a lot of work to do. No kidding!
  14. How long ago was it we were praying for Nylander?
  15. The latest Hockey News still rates Nylander a top prospect.
  16. Agreed. That call was a joke.
  17. Plus 1. Leafs attack would have eaten Lehner up. I wish Marner played for Sabres. He's so good.
  18. Pretty understandable isn't it?
  19. Duh! If the Pegula's weren't around, the Sabres probably wouldn't be either. I'll take what I can get, be thankful for it, and hope the gears start to mesh sooner rather than later.
  20. If you lose well, then draft well, you will be very good. It's also known as the Penguins.
