What proposed Calgary trade?

I googled “The Borge” but nothing came up. Is the spelling correct?

Need suggestions and I don't have time to read entire thread. These are my 3 favorite streaming shows 1. Game of Thrones. 2.The Last Kingdom and 3. Vikings. I needs a new series that's great historical action. Any ideas.

No method only madness. A waste of a first round pick. When TM wasted a first rounder it brought back Lehner who was a great talent. albeit with some demons.

He was also played out of position on the left side a lot last year. Botteril was an unmitigated disaster.

I have no doubt he will waste the asset since he is inexperienced. He and RK have made the decision that Montour doesn't fit but have no clue how to get value for him.

Well now I feel better about this thread. Leafs are lacking defense. Sabres leafs trade could happen soon just to quiet two disgruntled fan bases.

There are virtually no teams with a surplus of good RD and excess cap space and interested in acquiring a high priced Right winger. Buffalo and Toronto make perfect trade partners other than being bitter rivals. I still think it’s more likely Toronto trades us Kerfoot and Kapanen and I doubt Nylander would want to come to Buffalo.

Nylander has an average of 6.9 million while Risto is 5.3 million and is only signed for 2 more years. It definitely saves Leafs cap space.

They will be unloading some forwards Nylander? Manner? Kerfoot, Kapanen to acquire some Right sided defense. Would you trade Risto for William Nylander? Leafs need to unload cap.

For those of you thinking that Dylan Strome is the answer at 2C..Alex Nylander got more ice time than Strome did last night in a key playoff game.

Most unbiased observers feel that is equal value although I would rather give up Montour than Risto, but I feel Toronto wants Ristos physicality.

Unfortunately I think the team is Toronto with Risto or Montour being traded for Kerfoot and Kapanen. Kerfoot is not really a 2C although he would be on the the Sabres. Toronto needs to shed salary and is desperate for RD.

I would advise everyone to watch “Searching for Sugarman”. It’s a 2 hour documentary true story about a music star. I don’t want to give much away but it’s a heartwarming story on Netflix

If Dubas wants Montour I would do the deal. I think Ralph likes Risto more than Montour.

I don’t want Wayne Simmons. The Cap can be spent on a better G than Allen or a LD

Yes I would prefer to unload Montour instead of Risto, but I'm sure Toronto would rather have Risto since he adds a physical presence they lack.

Toronto is desperate for RD and has forward surplus and cap issues. We can’t worry about rivals. We need to become a legitimate NHL team
