Unfortunately, no one is touching that contract.

No way I’m going with an inexperienced head coach. It’s bad enough we have a GM who doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Do people think Staal has been effective? So far he doesn’t look like the answer at 2C to me.

Well GAIU, I'm sensing a bit of negativity. Unfortunately, Mitts, R2, Quinn and Cozens all need more time to develop. They could all use a full year in Rochester. Botteril rushed Mitts to the Sabres way before he was ready and the consequences were dire. Losing Kahun was a critical error by KA and not improving the goaltending. I am optimistic we will be improved but RK must figure out a way to get some production out of Skinner.

I didn’t think it was possible, but Skinner got demoted. Maybe he ends up on taxi squad.

I remember him discussing Staal as being highly preferred to Strome before others we’re really considering Staal as a realistic option to come here.

What was the truth?

I’m optimistic on Tage. He will be a revelation at RW. The absence of competent goaltending and the imbalance of right vs left defense is a problem that should have been addressed. RK didn’t like Skinner last year when we only had 2 top LW so that blame probably falls on Botteril.

I think RK doesn’t think Cozens is ready.

The rest of us are still in the denial stage

RK must hate Skinner and his game and is hoping he will ask to be traded. He is setting him up to fail.

They can't do that to Skinner. Not a chance after last years debacle.

I think he will get more minutes and play with more talented linemates (Cozens and/or Eakins)

Tage will be an impact player this year.

You're fine with KO but not Risto??? Risto has scored consistently on the pp.

I just think we need to have realistic expectations for what a young kid can do with limited training camp and no AHL experience. He will probably get more minutes than planned due to Zemgus being out, but I don’t see him as an impact player this year.
