  1. Even if as a part-time enforcer type who is in the press box half the time.
  2. To say he has a “mean streak” would be an understatement. Bedkowski punishes. He hurts, retaliates, beats down, knocks, and crushes opponents with open-ice hits and bone-rattling contact along the boards. Bedkowski flashes confidence in the attacking zone, too. He joins the rush, one-touches passes, beats forecheckers with his feet, and occasionally unloads one-timers from the blue line. -EliteProspects 2025 NHL Draft Guide
  3. Picks in the upper level of the second round have about a 30% chance of playing 100 NHL games. The fact that some of them "hit" does not make the numbers game any different. The Sabres traded a 30% chance for a 100% chance (since Timmins already has played 100 games).
  4. I will say that he beats Brady Skjei on the consonant scale.
  5. Over zoom or whatever, no less.
  6. A Ristolainen B Myers C Chara What will he become? And wouldn't it have been more useful to trade it? (Granted, we don't know what offers were around.)
  7. "Pick is in" seven minutes before pick is announced. C-list celebrities and/or Jeremy Roenick (D-list) announcing picks and taking forever to do so. Little analysis. This is the garbage I expect out of my favorite league.
  8. He certainly deserves more conversation. I'm not sure he'll crack the lineup, but he should be discussed more. Good call. And thanks for getting rid of the banana.
  9. That's how I see it, and not every team has a farm club 60 minutes down the road.
  10. I can't agree or disagree with this, but would you agree that Kesselring plays a POSITION more important than Peterka's?
  11. And a free Savoie and a free Rosen, too.
  12. My man, there are a bunch of F prospects (again not all equal) in the system who are looking for opportunity with the big club. Surely one or two has a chance. Can't say the same about D or G (other than Levi, and this board seems resigned to keep him in Rochester).
  13. @Thorny The team needed a second pairing (or first, if Byram is traded) defenseman much more than it needs Rust. It also needs a goaltender much more than it needs Rust. If it's #9 and Helenius for a capable goaltender, I'm pulling the trigger. If it's for Rust, NO. I had no problems with Peterka. I liked him. I'm on the fence about the trade. But what you're proposing is not equal to that trade. I get that you think all prospects are superfluous. Fine. They still aren't fungible. Some are better than others.
  14. I don't argue with that. But the fact that they are superfluous does not make them equal. Some prospects are more valuable than others, and Helenius is a heck of a lot more valuable than Rosen IMO.
  15. I've wanted Adams fired since the day before he was hired. If this happens, arson is a possible option for me. If the superfluous prospect is Rosen, sure. Not Konsta.
  16. That would be a very worthwhile use of #9. Then no.
  17. He can have all the 2PP minutes he wants as far as I'm concerned.
  18. Absolutely it is.
  19. Correct on both counts and I think, also, folks forget that Power is still 22.
  20. I'd like to know what the pairings look like with Byram gone. Who does Dahlin play with? If it's Kesselring, then we're in the same spot as last year when it comes to Power. Dahlin is exceptional, yes, but you can't just put a tackle dummy next to him on the blue line. I could live with Samuelsson as Dahlin's partner; I think that worked once.
  21. That's too bad. The EBUG has provided us with entertainment once in a while.
