Yes, he should have. It is ridiculous to see this team without a goaltender. This is Buffalo. The freaking TEAM IDENTITY IS GOALTENDING and always has been. This is like watching Penn State with no linebackers or the Yankees without a homerun hitter. We got so caught up in the stupid "franchise center" concept. Good teams should be built from the net out. Good Buffalo teams MUST be built from the net out.

It's a tough call. There are plenty of inoffensive chain restaurants in all of the areas, though.

Some teams call plays / direct formations with coded signs--colors, numbers, letters, logos, whatever, and Bama has the Bills logo mixed in there for whatever reason. Given that it's the SEC, they probably wanted to stay away from the letters and numbers.

It does happen too often. Whether that's personnel or system is something I'm still developing my opinion about. With goaltending, it is 100% personnel.

The main reason I wasn't confident with a 3-0 lead against Florida was Aaron Dell, not the defense. This defense isn't good, I can acknowledge that, but even a decent goalie, like Ullmark, makes saves and directs rebounds well enough that this team's scoring would have it in the top 8 in the conference.

I have friends who went to that Indy game and loved every minute of it.

The one with six shutouts so far this year is looking pretty good.

PA bags my groceries. But I really did think Schoeny was younger when he became captain. IN any event, age/stats really don't matter to me and I still think the team should vote.

He will always have the pressure of being a first overall pick. It doesn't matter where he goes.

On the above points from @dudacek: Cozens's age and stats don't matter to me. Jim Schoenfeld was a teenager and captained the team to the finals. The second point is the more important one: let it happen naturally. To me, this means let the team vote for its captains. But I've been saying that here at least since The Sabres Report days.

I am far from giving up on Dahlin, but I also don't consider him untouchable, especially with Power waiting in the wings. I would support something like this.
