Screw the Sens but am ambivalent about a win/loss... not apathetic. Nothing subtle about Gorges.. hes crap.

I have 15 years left on an amoritized arm thru my credit union converted to fixed rate. Have almost $200k in equity and now rent it out for more than the mortgage taxes and insurance, and live elsewhere in subsidized hospital housing. Thinking house will be a good source of retirement income and slowly finishing renovating it to add another 600 sq ft above garage loft. DYI with help. Figure can always park RV there when needed once retired and gonna look for a couple pieces of property in other areas to park It. Also have friends all over the country to go visit and refuel. Its a plan. Have about 12 years till I retire at 70. So need to plan and let God laugh. We will see.

Yeh but.... seriously though, think it was more about reversing the old ways and getting in better talent. Even with only two partial lines and a maturing D Sabres are playing better. As long as new guys coming in have talent, Sabres should be better. CM CJS BG and first rounder will help a lot. If any decent UFAs signed could be much better.

Yeh so far not sticking.Nice though the ER and OR is dead in Yonkers.. and I am sore and dead from hockey loss last nite played with 8 against 15. Legs feel like jello and lats are killing me...

I see them signing Nelson, drafting a forward with first unless Dahlin. Then going after D with next pics. Could see a D signed UFA but expect Sabres to keep their own and keep developing. If Bogo back, he could be traded mid season or used as muscle third pair. I see Antipin getting better as he gets used to North American game and learns to communicate better. As of now, I think D are pretty well set and winger should be first priority. Key will be if Sabres can get out of the gate fast and establish some consistency. D will be better with better forwRds and buying into 5 man unit.

Yeh that is the biggest difference is he is better on the puck. Skating more like O’Reilly finding the puck anticipating. Not pouting and stronger on his skates. Both he and Jack started improving around xmas and now we are really seeing that hard work come out. It opens up space for himself and allows him to display his deft passing. Because he recovers the puck more its on his stick more which is a good thing. He and ROR seem to have a nice balance. Liking it.
