    A good goaltender would go a long way.... helps with confidence. That being said the Sabres have only 1 line with talent and a bunch of fourth liners. Till that changes its gonna be more of the same. Still think Erod Baptiste and one of the guys from the Amerks CJ or maybe one of the Euros can make up a decent third line. Until Wilson is on the third or fourth line and Jack has a pair of wingers its gonna be more of the same. Hoping someone steps up.

    Yeh Capt Morgan won Blue too though I thought I had him in the semis but a nefarious extra hit came in after the game was over... boo

    Sabres spacing is so bad going into opponents zone and predictable. Guys dont read off each other look for open space they can pass too except ROR line. Girgenson should not be on line with Jack snd Jack needs to learn to grind.

    Why does Lehner pass/clear to an opposing team everytime putting D out of position. He should never play puck behind net.

    You are right about Gil though he got better as he got older. Still he could skate through an entire D with guys drapped on him or juke them and increase speed while not appearing to lift his legs. Dont remember him being great on D though except he became a pretty good back checker. One thing was he would pick the puck up behind his own net and skate the entire length of the ice and score. He had a nack of getting the D to open enough so he could split them. Also he was a very good passer especially with Rico’s shot and Renee’s hustle. The whole line had speed. Jack will be much better when he has linemates with skill and speed. Casey and say draft pick, CJ or someone like him
