Nylander and his speed didn't look out of place... needs to learn a few things but got back on D. Middelstadt has some sick hands, now if we can find some finishers and a goalie and 1 top end D via FA or Dahlin, as long as the JAGs don't see the ice next year. KO played one of his better games of the season. Love the Scandella response on that hit on KO. Bring up CJ Smith and let Oloffson, PU and Asplund develop in Rochester... Look for diamonds in the rough to develop in later rounds and the Sabres finally have the makings of a team. Enjoyed the game and a couple of bounces the other way.... Still enjoyable to watch. Only wish Falk had some wheels, would love it if the Sabres could find a nasty D man that could skate. Ok, one more game to go... When again does the lottery take place?

Hughes has elite speed and jumps up more but a D liability. People are enamoured by his speed, Me I like Bouchard, more size offensive skater but without the D liability.

Sam defers too much to Jack and feels like he has to play in his shadow, at least my sense, Keep Sam with ROR and tell to foget about his tandem partner. I think both Middi and Alex need to be up next year with CJ. Add Dahlin if possible and keep developing D from later rounds. If no on Dahlin draft best scorer and stay away from reaching on trades. I know we are all butt hurt by this season... but keep away from older vets in trades. Let the younguns grow up.

Agree and I think the Sabres need to find a way during the off season to come together as a team once changes are determined. More off season hockey things around Buffalo wether it be off season work outs/ training - team activites, passing drills, especially under pressure. Structure stuff, drill drill drill till they get it right. Wish team stuff could happen earlier. Dont care if theses guys like each other only that they compete together. Want to see some leadership and be sick of playing against each other by the time season starts.

Passing still sucks and they have no idea how to swallw the puck when under pressure or help each other out. Sens pressure young Sabres all night long and Sabres in corners playing to not get hurt. One team played shinny the other hockey
