Driving across northern States from NYC to Seattle late spring. Stopping off to take family on maid of the mist, then Detroit to see Motown musuem and Hidylberg project, onto Medleine Islands on Lake Superior, then Minneapolis, then Fargo to Mt Rushmore... to Glacier National Park Grande Tetons riding the highway to the sun..., then to Seattle staying on a houseboat.. onto Vancouver with a tour of Puget Sound, then down the Coast camping on the beach in Oregon and horseback riding. Then to Humbolt County and the Redwoods and so see my brother in San Fran with a visit to Alcatraz. Final major stop on way back will be Yellowstone. My wife is a driving fool and we are taking 3.5 weeks to do it! Can’t wait!

Reasonable choice, Nashville stringest in West... Boston imo in East but hard to judge in playoffs. Sharks and Winny I think can give Nash a run for its money. East more wide open.

yes I have Winny in the final winning against Jersey as an upset to finals.

Couldve said we have lot of young players learning to play together with them. Was it frustrating yup, be we are going to keep working on meshing and learning to bring it every night. That is part of my job as one of the leaders on this team. Not this self immolation crap.

ROR is frustrated, heart and sole no bs kinda guy. Probably as hard on himself as others. Needs to lighten up, but hard to do when losing. If he and Jack want to lead this team then they need to do some off season workout team stuff in Buffalo this summer and have some fun doing it while working on ice chemistry scenarios too. PS bring the goat ties along, they need the work and some personal coaches.

Happens with young teams a lot. Just enjoy playing hard.

Agree, when the Sabres decided to play the style he was asking.. It was fun to watch. Just happened so infrequently. Part of it was talent, not enough of it.... so the guys who had it, had to work that much harder and seemed to burn them out for a few games afterwards. The other part was such poor goaltending. I am hoping the additions of some of the young guys next year help the effort level night in and out, but am still thinking they need another year before they can truly be competitive. Man it sucks waiting.

I still get the feeling this is a crap shoot and depends on both talent, but just as important... fire in the belly and at that age so hard to telk.

Nfw, Ruff really... not after he flopped with Dallas and ended up helping force a Ranger rebuild. Love Ruff dont want him back. Im fine with Phil on a short leash. Like what hes trying to do. Talent laking on this team. This year sucked but not sure anyone with this team’s talent would have made enough of a difference. So add some talent next year and see what happens.

Also, figuring the top guys into the mix am more interested in 2nd rounder and then value/gems in later rounds. Say like the Samuelson cousins.
