I think the inconsistency mirrors their captain and we often forget how young he still is. Posted in game time thread that coach should take away their xbox's and cell phones and treat them like teenagers... gotta come at them from all different directions to keep them off balance otherwise they'll get used to it and start sliding back... I think you are starting to see Mitts come into his own now.... He is playing with a lot more speed... TT has a bit more to go and probably about 20 lbs to put on, but even with him its about experience and eliminating the bonehead plays... he has been better lately... looking at some more consistency... I keep Larry, Z, Wilson and Smith. KO may be done... for his sake I hope he calls it a day. In addition, though I like Sheary's speed, wouldn't mind to see him replaced...

Best game Sabres have played since the Islanders. I liked Erod up on Eichel's line because he is better defensively. Still that line needs a bigger guy who can score. D pairings worked tonight as well. They only have 2 lines up top and and partial 3-4 lines... Based on what SDS was saying and I happen to agree with that theory. Phil and JBots realize a 1 year playoff team is not what they are after. They are after what Tampa is now... gonna take time and gaining of experience and a few more draft picks developing and another signing of a free agent or trade of one the many D.

Fighting no toughness yes... other than Risto, McCabe and Bogo... anyone else tough on this team with skill. Dahlin will get there with another 20 lbs, need a couple of forwards with some moxie and strength. Jack has the size but plays like a primo... maybe Mitts and Tage will grow into it, but really cant think of a forward that can do both. Tampa has 3-4 forward guys who do.
