I disagree, Datsyuk in his prime was God... in many ways way better than Crosby defensively and offensively. Crosby is special and v the other guys sure... but that Detroit team had so much talent and Pavel was so modest and quiet he almost got overlooked, but watch his highlights they were/are insane and he brought that almost every game.

Speaking of wrestling... toward end of Isle game Jack was tackled going to the net no call and there were at least 2-3 other blatant non calls yet the Sabres farted on an Isles player and got called... Bias yup believe it happens. But Sabres arent good enough yet to even really close complain.

Fair enough... just see a little more moxy and attitude in Cozens than Mitts. Mitts has the skill imo, just not the tude… if he finds it and not sure he will... then great Sabres will have two up and comers... they still need to draft more guys that can carry the puck and play with strength and trade for some as well. No more passive BD

I would not be scary if the Sabres somehow found a 2nd line center this past summer. Cozens will get there, but how long will that take 2 years? The Sabres still need to find one, at this rate they may be able to draft one next year, still that may be another year away as well. Ok do we have the lastest scouting report on the 2020 draft.

Saw it this past week... ok, good parts, acting meh at times... generally enjoyable if less suspensful than others...

Interesting debate... I am on the fence on Botterill. If he doesnt do something positive before trade deadline I would be ok with moving on from him. I do do believe Cozens is the no 2 center of the future... but Sabres need to sign a scorer or trade for one by deadline. If they somehow can find another center great! Either way they need to find a top six guy with attitude.

Lake Placid for X-Mas... just had a great time with my sister in law, brother and two nieces... Weather sucked for skiing but family stuck together and had a lot of fun hanging out. Went skating on the Olympic Oval and went to Olympic museum as well as viewed the rink where it all happened in 1980. Pretty cool. Town was not what I pictured but still pretty cool and had a lot of fun. Head home tomorrow.
