Any one got any thoughts on Jagger Joshua’s PIMs being way down this season. I know it’s early and maybe it just a small sample size but it seems odd for a guy who drops the gloves pretty regularly.

Sure but extending the chicken wing into dudes face was filthy. Didn’t make good contact and I don’t think it was a penalty but Greenway’s intent was clear. For the record, I want players to do what he did. Every other team has a squad of fools that seem intent on hurting everyone, time for us to employ a few.

Has Greenway always toed the line between gritty and filthy? Hadn’t noticed until this season.

I know you mentioned the word “package”, I’ll spare you my usual rant about the proliferation of said “trade packages”. If the team wants to make changes, it’s needs to start with Power or Byram. I doubt Östlund is much more than the equivalent of a 2nd rounder. So if the Sabres “trade package” includes Power and Östlund, I can’t imagine Noah elevates the package much.

Depends on the first name. Either way, those are lofty expectations. I’m assuming Filip as Petr is a little too lofty.

He’s earned it, maybe he’ll show something this time

Yeah I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt because it’s the compassionate thing to do but he can’t keep making the mistakes he’s making. They always end up in the back of the net. Once or twice a game, he makes a maddening decision and blows the game for us. He’s a good player but he’s gotta eliminate the crippling mistakes. Lindy has told him about this. Told him it can’t happen but it’s still happening. Maybe he’ll never outgrow it. It’s been too long that’s for sure.

Whether or not he shot or passed, Benson needs to get that puck to the other 3 player in a way better position to score. If the pass want there, shoot it at Korpisal’s left pad. Let’s do ourselves a favor here. Zach is young, he’ll learn but a tough lesson in the win column.
