I don’t like Adams but I find it hard to blame him for not acquiring a player that wasn’t traded
-
Given his wife’s condition, I probably would refrain from making comments like this but maybe it’s just me.

The internet schmucks are annoying the ***** outta me. All they do is keep pushing the narrative that this trade is on the table and it’s Kevyn’s fault if it doesn’t happen. I’m not even sure either team has discussed any of the players they are mentioning. The “rumor” aka what a bunch of fans made up, has taken on a life of its own and has now landed in the imminent deal status because these guys won’t stop pushing it to get clicks. Now the entirety of Sabres twitter expects this trade to take place and will blame Adams when it doesn’t. I have no love for the guy but can we stop acting like anyone has any credible knowledge. I haven’t seen one thing. Just attention whores trying to sound the sluttiest.

Why? Be the change you seek

I haven’t seen it but I’ll take your word

Unless we have players that are in almost identical situations. See Dylan Cozens. If he’s the centerpiece of the deal, make it happen. He clearly is either in his own head and may never figure it out here or he got his brain so scrambled in that fight or is such a ***** that one fight has turned him into Derek Roy. It’s ***** bizarre that the leagues own network has analysts using internet rumors for content. Like is that really all you have to talk about?

Doug Allen to sing the Anthems before the Sabres-Nashville Game 1/31/25
inkman replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
The gov’t is forcing Doug Allen to sing the Anthem at the Sabres game? A cruel and unusual form of punishment. -
Yeah but I’ll take a much better soft guy (your words not mine) over the mediocre ones we have now
-
I know I’ve been spouting off about how this isn’t real and not happening. If there is any truth to the Sabres being involved in talks, Kevyn needs to get this done. Cozens, Byram, Power, Quinn, Rosen, who cares, get the deal done. Ain’t playing until Friday Kevyn, ***** do it.

You are a little too smart to be uttering this so I’ll assume you did it with tongue firmly pressed in cheek. The expression nip it in the bud means to put a quick end to something. This phrase comes from the garden but has branched out. When a leaf or flower is beginning to form, it's just a little bud, and if you nip it — cut it — then it won't grow. You nip it in the bud.

It’s almost what they need

What will be the Sabres approach at the trade deadline?
inkman replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
I’ve been told by many folks instances like this are called “show casing” your players. Hockey GMs don’t make trades based on informed opinions of hockey scouts who watch thousands of hours of hockey from every player, they make trades solely based on their last game performance. On a related note, there is a trade rumor involving Tage & JJ and a certain couple of Edmonton Oilers. More at 11. E5. -

You had me up until palm trees -
Some of us are using our Stanley Cup contending Sabres to vacate our minds of football.

Sounds like a guy (Rutherford) who’d rather trade Miller.

It’s the same people with the same motivation. Clicks. They don’t care if it’s true.
