Nietzsches...now that brings back memories from 30-40 yrs back. They are still around?? They had some of the most interesting/weird/talented performers...And I'm not exclusively talking about the musicians

Lets face reality. Ted is a good coach but he always gets quickly fired...Only those who work closely with him could explain that. When someone gets quickly canned at several places the logical assumption is that he is truly a pain in the butt. Because he is a good coach and based on team performances he shouldn't be getting fired everywhere. He knew he was gonna get canned so he put superhuman effort in to mess up the tank. If it weren't for the miracle work of the great saint Toews we would have blown it.

I think Nolan is an excellent coach. The sabres were very competitive toward the end of the season. he was in a no win situation. If the team plays poorly we coast into the 30 spot and some are happy.But then they come back and claim he cant coach. If the team plays well they make the 30 spot a nailbiter or lose the spot then he is the goat. Absolutely a no win for the guy. What is always the question with him is his personality.What the insiders know. seems to rub mgmt. the wrong way. He is a damn good coach.

shows how little character many of the sabres have. if they would have been putting in a bit of effort at the beginning of the season then ok....play your hearts out. but to be lazy and sloppy for most of the season they put in effort for the last 15 games....shows lack of character.

Assures is used correctly . A Buffalo win will certainly make certain,ensure that the club gets Eichel. Although those kooks at Oxford sometimes get it wrong. They need more Russians at them snobby institutions!

The pessimism born of a largely horrible or heartbreaking Buffalo sports past. We must learn to trust that this is a new era.--Although I must admit I am not sufficiently confident at this point. Guess Ive been around too long. And its too bad Terry cant just have a sit down with the coach. That would come back and bite him some day.cant be done. Everyone has to sit there and smile while this plays out.

oops......I blame it on jet lag---I think its more like #29 wants #30 to win rather than someone below them--increasing its odds for eichel to slightly over 50%

if #30 doesn't win the lottery's 1st pick...then they sure as heck want it to be #29 which wins it. Then the odds for the #2 would be slightly over 50% at that point. Correct me if im mistaken.
