This franchise has been criminaly negligent in its coaching and FO hires.......Not having a decent QB in 15 yrs--when we have had ample opportunities that even most amateurs on this board could see. Bill Polian was an aberration. The calls were horrendous.........But Orton goes into a coma in the redzone and Hackett goes into a coma as well. Even with the &*^calls we should have won

Orton is not good enough to overcome horrendous coaching. Please TPEG....please clear out all of St. Ralph's cheapskate FO and coaching hires. l

WOW. Yes I don't think EJ can develop in any great way because you cant learn how to throw a ball accurately at age 25 if you aren't even close to throwing accurately. Foles was able to hit he broad side of a barn before his development.

With EJ there is nothing to develop. He can't throw. That doesn't develope.

Orton is mr average.Nice arm..accurate and decent strength. But even in the Jets game we just didn't take advantage until the 4th or 5th turnover. Too much dawdling toward the red zone. Same thing every single time. The 43 vs the jets a mirage. Orton is an 8-8 kinda guy--That said he's better than EJ 'canthitthebroadsideofbarn' Manuel.

you always take the superstar goalie first. you do realize that dom carried an average team to the finals once and deep into the playoffs a few times.add malkin or ovechkin or any of them to an average team and you get a slightly above average team. -

yeah true. beebe was funny he dropped the easy ones caught the tough ones. NFL bylaws prevent untalented megaselling pop/rock stars from owning a team. KISS,FOREIGNER etc. The blacklist is endless.

buff needs a superstar. the closest we've had to that since hasek has been non-superstar briere. real playmakers.

still keeping an open mind...but arent players supposed to get better in their 20s? w buffalo its always wait wait wait future future future. regier better do well w those draft choices. so far he has us well stocked w mediocrity. he gets ridda vanek then we will be the ahl sabres.
