  1. lets face it...we again don't have a QB . Its going to be a frustrating football season at 8-8 or 9-7. Lot of what-ifs.
  2. Excellent ball player.The Braves 1st star and a family friend. 69 yrs old.Too young. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/bob-kauffman-braves-first-star-player-dies-at-age-69-20150728
  3. so according to your statistics white and black people commit approx. the same number of crimes. -Have you determined what kind of crimes and what degree the crime is? You haven't shown it in your post. Perhaps the higher incarceration rate has something to do with the level of crime...not the total number of arrests. Post number 12450 said nothing about COMMITTING THE EXACT SAME CRIMES. Your imagination is either very active or you are being dishonest.....
  4. the cigarette smoke in the newsrooms was thick and the stenotype was blocking the doors
  5. donut smuggling? that's a very low estimate
  6. theres such a lot of material here......but I would say my mathematical analysis of the sabres draft odds before actually looking at how the lottery was being run.
  7. well the 225 lb lineman stiff is a bit severe of a comparison:):)..but I agree with the essence of your post. Perrault would still make the players of today look very silly just as he did in 1980.
  8. Who said he was a slacker?? I just mentioned that heavy smoking was a contributing factor to him not becoming all that he could be because of the decreased lung capacity and premature aging . Sure smoking was common at the time. Randy Smith was another smoker. -But you have to remember he only started in the nhl about 10 yrs before gretzky. -It wasn't THAT different a time.
  9. Physical talent he was right there with Orr and Lemieux. You are correct he smoked like a chimney and didn't have the maniacal drive like gretzky.
  10. well 8 is more accurate...but I didn't want to upset anyone sports are learned very early on. ball skills being the main thing. you can learn to be a great LB or DE or OL. But some things have to be learned at a very young age. Show me a pro tennis player who didn't start playing when they were practically toddlers
  11. disagree. you substitute ferguson for Kelly with kellys teammates and there is a drop off....but not much of one. and comparing Kelly to hasek.....no way is jim close to hasek as far as being all-time great in their sport's.
  12. hehe.....those little complications:)
  13. you cant learn to be an accurate passer after the age of 10. by then its ingrained. yes he can learn to be less inaccurate--and if the playcalling is extremely limited then he can be a decent back-up in this league because of his size/running ability.
  14. when is the last time a buffalo sports team had a man like gmtm running things??? polian in 80s 90s. after decades of incompetence.. finally.
  15. all these carbs aren't helping my deflation. the soft footballs aren't anything. Its the Pats digging a deeper and deeper whole into sillyworld that is so entertaining.
  16. 1.Bonds on steroids 2.Ted Williams/Ruth/Cobb 3.Mays
  17. I'd agree. Although Fouts was really close to Marino in the passing dept..
  18. Montana Elway(carried some bad Denver teams on his back) Marino(freak show passer) Brady/Young/Favre/Fouts Manning Tarkenton/Rodgers Brees/Anderson/Kelly/Bradshaw/Moon/Namath Otto Graham,Sid Luckman and others never saw play...johnny U was too young to see him til he was way past it. Len Dawson,Bob Griese,Ken Stabler,Lamonica,Sonny Jurgenson,Boomer honorable mention
  19. I think Brady is top ten...but you have to consider he has had great teams around him and probably the greatest coach(kudos to walsh and oLombardi). If Buffalo had drafted him it would have been a completely different story. Guys like ken Anderson didn't have the teams/organizations.
  20. Nothing will happen to Brady. what is so silly is that he didn't need to do this stuff. And probably thought he was just bending the rules a bit like everyone else does.
  21. ok. I just wonder if any circumstantial evidence builds up where is that point where people say YES--we do object to looking at this guy.
  22. wellll.....I think we have to first see whether he really did it or not. we know the 3 above mentioned scum did it even though they are 'innocent'
