  1. He seems very calm for a goalie on a crappy team playing a Cup contender.
  2. WTF? How can the crowd be so dead? This is a pretty good game.
  3. Praise be to proper stretching...can't say enough about how that can contribute to preventing an injury.
  4. Might have been a fluke, but it looked to me like Conacher undressed that guy. I haven't seen Ennis undress a goalie that I can recall. I would say Chicago's shots on average are a much higher quality.
  5. Possible hyper extension, I'd say. I think the status of the injury will depend on how well he stretches pregame.
  6. Leino, you suck. In other news, NBC is saying nice things about Sabres players; what's going on?
  7. Conacher took the goalie out with a move, who else can do that on this team?
  8. I do not want this to turn out badly, however, this game here will be Enroth's first test in a while as a starter.
  9. Yes, but his confidence and ego needed to be reset. This is what the Sabres needed for him to do.
  10. I've been on board with this particular trade; it was pretty shrewd to set up the team with another potential starter. This is the reason, along with the cap space the Sabres have, I said elsewhere they could ice a team next season that could compete for eighth. If both goalies continue to play at the level we have seen, they'll either have a goalie problem of the good kind, or go back to calling them 1a and 1b.
  11. Sushi = tapeworm risk. Just saying.
  12. Count me in on dumping Hodgson, but many of you knew that already. deluca makes the case very well. My thoughts on Hodgson have no bearing on Kassian, other than the equation that Swamp makes, which I agree with. Both players minuses supercede their pluses, and neither belong on a contending team.
  13. Did Crosby come into his draft with the same amount of hype McDavid is getting?
  14. What does that have to do with McDavid?
  15. FWIW, I'm with you. I think Tank Nation is conveniently forgetting the odds do not favour a McDavid slam dunk and could very well be setting themselves up for a disappointment when the Sabres draft, oh, third in 2015.
  16. You forgot this feline interpretation of the Sabres' play tonight:
  17. Absolutely. No worries for the net-minders.
  18. Odds of tying this up with 56.9 left to go?
  19. Why do the Sabres skill guys stay parallel to the boards when they're bringing the puck over the blue line? Why not take it in towards the slot?
